The hotel had all modern reqiurements and my room had a beautiful view of the Mekong River and a stunning sunrise that I could see from my bed if desired. The restaurant was excellent and it was great to be able to cool off and relax beside the pool. Although I did not have time to use them there were bicycles available free to ride to the town and surrounding countryside. The staff were helpful and polite.

The River Resort is 8 km from the World Heritage site of Wat Phou. It offers stylish air-conditioned rooms with a private balcony and free Wi-Fi.

Stunning room with beautiful view across the Mekong. Hotel setting is lovely. Nice pool. Good food. Breakfast was all that let it down.

We absolutely loved this hotel, from the quiet village location to the helpful staff who helped us arrange trips etc. The breakfast was lovely and the dinners great.

This place felt brand new and so fresh, which was a huge plus. It was incredibly clean and well-maintained. We were pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was, especially for the quality we got. What I love the most was the kindness of the owner, Tina, and her professionality. She helped me in everything and arranged my trip to 4000 islands.She also cooked for me and she is extremely good in cooking.She speaks English really fluently. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning was good and there was hot water. In this guest house I felt like to be at home.

The hotel was a great deal for the price. The breakfast was excellent… lots of restaurants nearby and a short walk to town… we used the roof top pool everyday. It was modern, clean and spacious with great staff. One of the best deals for a hotel we have had. We really liked this hotel.

Centrally located near bus terminus - comfortable clean and helpful attentive staff - we stayed in economy room which was fine - roof top bar and restaurant was excellent -able to leave valuables with reception - much better breakfasts than we have been used to on our travels!
