The location is just stunning, peaceful and beautiful. It feels like home, Henry and the staff are so lovely and welcoming and help with anything. They even called the airport to make sure I would catch my flight :D and preapred an early breakfast for me. By the Mekong river, of course! Let's not even talk about the details of the interior/exterior design... Definitely an unforgettable place!

We were planning to stay for one night but extended for two more nights because we loved it so much! Pinky was the most amazing host and made us feel so welcome. She gave us recommendations on where to go, we could take bicycles for free and there is a free shuttle to the night market. The pool is incredible the beds are really good, there is a smart tv so you can watch Netflix, a fully stocked mini fridge and fresh towels every day. Even after my stay when I accidentally left my card in an ATM machine I could message Pinky and she helped me find the right resources to get it back. She’s honestly the nicest person ever. Thank you so much for our incredible stay!

I felt at home from the moments I stepped in the Garden House! Immaculate clean apartment, very large space. The hostess is the warmest person I have met in the whole SE Asia. She has hired very service minded staff and they are always ready to help. I got so much better service than if I had checked in a regular hotel. We really appreciate we were assigned a ground floor apartment so my husband didn’t have to climb many stairs with his bad knees. We also have been served the best breakfast we have had in whole Laos. Delicious and always freshly made. Homemade jams and homemade soy milk! We couldn’t ask for more. Definitely a place to recommend to everyone I know. P.S. you are welcome to pick fruits and veggies from the garden - it is a lovely thing we were allowed to do.

Lovely room and beautiful complex. Just stunning. A little bit further out than other hotels but the free shuttle to and from the main centre meant this was no issue, was a short trip. Staff were exceptional and went above and beyond.

This is a backpackers “kick back and relax” paradise! Perfect for relaxing by the pool while watching the majestic Mekong River flow by against a tropical forest backdrop My room (6 female dorm) was large, with pool view, ensuite bathroom, good quality shower products, toilet paper and hot water shower. The bunk beds are well organized with light, small shelf and Chinese sockets, the mattress is a bit thin (Chinese style). There are no lockers in the room so it can get crammed Older reviews mentioned "pool closed and construction site noise" - this was definitely not the case when I visited The hostel is located some 30 minutes walk from the city centre but there is an e-bike/scooter rental

Had a wonderful 3 night stay at Hillside. As mentioned in their write up, it is quite far out of town so would be best to spend some time staying in town and then some time here relaxing. Khan was wonderful and helped us with anything we needed. We tried many things on the menu and they were all amazing. The pool was a great temperature, not too cold. My outdoor massage was amazing!! There is a village 15 minutes walk up the road to gather snacks and drinks if you want to and a small adventure park with some activities. There are boardgames and cards games available to use as well as petanque and table tennis. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this resort! So relaxing!

It was such an inspiration to stay in the middle of nature, with superb views, and having all the comfort you need, and more! The breakfast was exquisite, the owner so kind, cattering to the needs of the guests, I felt very welcomed. Also, the place has great eco design, that you see in every detail in the challet and surrounding landscape. Had an amazing stay, booked for 3 nights, then stayed one more to enjoy it fully. Highly recommend it.
