We were there for 2 weeks and loved it. It was a very nice family hosting. They involved us in activities like cooking classes. Friendly kids came over every day to play soccer and volleyball with us. We harvested delicious peanuts with the locals. We biked around the island and went to the beautiful Buffalo Beach. We watched amazing sunsets every night. Stay here if you're ready to live like a local!

Location is a stunner. Right on the river, perfect for a relaxing time on Don Kong/Det. Staff were very lovely and have bicycles to rent for cheap which is the perfect way to get around. It was crazy hot when we stayed and the fan didn’t quite cut the mustard, can’t blame them for that though. I would say the bathrooms are basic and can get a little dirty after a few days. This is absolutely passable for the price you pay however!

The best sunsets on the island! The hotel is conveniently located on the banks of the Mekong, not far from the pier. The room was modest, but clean - good bed linen and towels. excellent value for money. delicious breakfast with great coffee! Thank you very much, Andy for your hospitality, advice and organization of our holiday! We want to return to the hotel and enjoy the view - the sunsets and starry sky were magnificent

The guest house location is amazing facing to river and sunset point, the room is quite new and very clean with Air conditioning, from ferry 4 minutes walks, I only stayed here 2 nights before leaving the country, the staff very friendly and helpful we enjoyed our stayed,I don't understand the negative reviews, perhaps I had a better room.
