Best hotel in the area and in all south Sri lanka. It's a brand new hotel with a stunning modern Sri Lankan design. It's located in a small quite village between Wiligama and Midigama, a walk distance from the Fishermen beach and very reachable from the main road. The owner of the place is simple amazing, always carring for his tenants. This hotel made my vacation way much better than it was.

It is a very beautiful place to stay - Breakfast & coffee was amazing and included. Specially the staff were very friendly and did a great service. Special thanks to Tina & Elio for their hospitality! Don't miss out on the signature drinks they offer, my favourite is the coconut infused Negroni. I would definitely come back.

It was incredible two weeks at the Tropical Villa! I love this place so much! Me and my husband enjoyed spending our vacation here. Huge thanks to the team who makes this villa such comfortable, cozy and safe place! We had a spacious and clean room on the first floor. It was so cool to wake up and go straight to the pool and then practice yoga in the yard. After that we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast (scramble, sausages, bacon, salad, fresh juice, fruits, bread toasts with butter and jam, coffee). Location is top. Ocean, fish point, different cafes, money exchange point, bus station are super close (2-5 minutes walk). Most of the surf spots and a big grocery store are about 10-15 minutes walk. Staff are super friendly, attentive and helpful. Don’t hesitate to talk to them and ask if you need something. One day we asked about a safari tour and the next day we got round trip transfer, guide and jeep (exploring the Yala Park).

This property including the staff is a true Sri Lankan gem. From the moment you step into this hotel, you immediately know that it's unlike any place you've ever been before. The roundhouse concept is genius as it provides 360 degrees of uninterrupted views of the area. I'd hate to describe the place much more because you must see it for yourself. It's a place worth the attention of Architectural Digest! The infinity pool is the highlight. With only a limited number of rooms available, you'll never find yourself crowded in the pool hence it feels almost like a private pool, which it did during our stay as we used it thrice and every single time we were the only ones in the pool. I have rated this the most serene common pool I've been lucky to take a dip in. The food is also excellent here, which you have to pick from the a la carte menu. The breakfast with the stunning morning view was the icing on the cake. Kasun is an excellent manager and a wonderful host. He along with his team comprising of the Jack of all trades, Tharaka made our stay super convenient and memorable.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Serenity Boutique Hotel in Unawatuna, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. The hotel is located in a stunningly beautiful location, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning views. If you're looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the perfect place to be. One of the things that really stood out to me during my stay at the Serenity Boutique Hotel was the exceptional staff. They were some of the best I've ever encountered in my travels, going above and beyond to ensure that our every need was met. Especially after an unfortunate incident that happened to me, the owner made sure that everything was handled well, which I highly appreciate! Despite being a bit outside the main town of Unawatuna, I found this to be a real benefit. It provided a tranquil retreat away from the noise and crowds, allowing us to relax and unwind completely. That said, it's still close enough to the town that you can easily access all of the local attractions and restaurants. All in all, I would definitely recommend the Serenity Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation. The stunning location, exceptional staff, and peaceful atmosphere make it the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Whether you're traveling with family, friends, or on your own, this is definitely a destination worth considering.

The hotel is run by a lovely family who are exceptional hosts. Nothing is too much bother for them. Rooms are modern, very clean and restful. The pool is clean . The food was the best in Sri Lanka! Breakfast was a mix of traditional and other. Dinner has wonderful tasty options. We were treated as part of the family. We highly recommend this property
