Everything was truly excellent. The aesthetics of the resort are absolutely beautiful and calming, the rooms are nicely decorated and the bathroom is really spacious and clean. The bed slept super comfortable. Breakfast was truly delicious, coffee great too. Really everything was brilliant. Felt totally at ease staying at this resort. Wish we could stay longer!

We had an amazing stay at Harding Boutique, the staff went above and beyond each day. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, the food was as excellent as everyone else said. It felt like a very personal place, there are very few rooms so the experience of being there was quite exclusive. The room was beautiful and the location was perfect for both the beach and other restaurants and bars.

Exceptional service! What makes this hotel best in Ahangama is it's Staff first of all. The staff is extremely cooperative, courteous and understanding. They are very helpful people. The rooms itself are huge with 2 beds where minimum 4 people can sleep. The hotel is right infront of the beach. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the hotel itself. Even more better part is it's rooftop area where breakfast is served every morning, the views are to die for. The best sunrise and sunset is what you get to experience from their rooftop. I would love to be back here again. The breakfast served was also amazing with a wide variety. Loved every bit of the stay here.

Ahangama is so peaceful - it's slightly away from the busier areas around the coast. The restaurants around are in great locations, and all very calm with great vibes. It's also very easy and quick to get to neighbouring towns to visit sites, or restaurants in those locations as well.

We actually stayed in Kabalana which is just 25 min walk or...

We actually stayed in Kabalana which is just 25 min walk or 5 min tuk tuk drive from Ahangama. It was the right decision as Ahangama was twice as busy and Kabalana beach was way better. Restaurants near us were really nice too and with the most famous night club in Sri Lanka called Trax round the corner!

Ahangama is great for surfing, restaurants and social life!

Ahangama is great for surfing, restaurants and social life! There are some weekly parties in town and a lot of solo travellers which can be met on social hostels, all around the town and at the beach. Loved Ahangama and it gave me very homey feeling, came back after seen the island a bit more!

The location was very peaceful whilst at the same time within easy walking distance to the town center and the surf spots. Thari, her husband and Ravi were very friendly and accommodating - they really do provide Sri Lankan hospitality. The rooms were decent for the price your paying. We would have extended our stay if we didn't have other accommodation already booked. It's overall a great place to stay and would recommend it for either couples or solo travellers looking for a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle.

We had an amazing time at Panta Rei and even booked it again for our last couple of days in Sri Lanka. The resort is extremely beautiful with a lovely garden and pool area and the rooms are clean, spacious and beautifully furnished. It’s just a short walk to Kabalana Beach and it’s popular surf spot. Food options are also great and the hosts and staff are absolutely amazing! Everyone is super friendly and always happy to help with anything you need. We will definitely come back and would 100% recommend!

Great location in the jungle and a short way from the main road and Secret Beach. Ishan and his family were so helpful and the food here was some of the best rice and curry of our whole month-long stay! Cinnamon growing outside your door and fresh-picked curry leaf in your coconut breakfast roti. This felt like an authentic stay with a Sri Lankan family, thank you!

It was simply the best stay ever! Kurulu and his lovely family makes the stay so wonderful, they are nice and thoughtful. They also make the best food in Sri Lanka, tasty meals and very fresh ingredients too. Also the room has all the facilities that you’ll need. Is very close to a nice beach and other restaurants.
