We had the best time staying at the tea cottage! The staff was so attentive and friendly and the golden ice tea on arrival was very tasty. We had both dinner and breakfast at their restaurant and it was delicious. The bungalow was so cozy and we loved the surrounding area with several waterfalls to go swim in, just a short drive away, as well as beautiful hiking! We were the only tourists around and the local people are (as everywhere in Sri Lanka) really helpful and nice. The manager Johan made our stay very special!

The stunning locations, in the middle of the rain forest with a private natural pool. The room design, the food and the multiple activities (rafting, trekking city tour waterfall visit etc.) are other elements that made us having a great experience. The host was very supportive. Provided delicious meals with a wide variety. There are few natural pools nearby with easy and private access. The location has a nice view with a quiet surrounding. Everything! It’s hidden in the middle of the nature next to a beautiful river. The interior and architecture of the accommodation blend beautifully in the green area. You’re really in the nature, with plants, bushes, creeks, trees and cute animals sticking out everywhere. At the same time you have all the conveniences of a luxurious and gorgeously designed lodge. Just as the place itself, the surrounding area is amazing. There are stunning waterfalls and river spots nearby. Walking around is convenient as there are barely any cars on the roads. The staff is amazing. Helpful and kind in a serene way. Honestly the best place we stayed at in Sri Lanka, wished we could stay longer. We hope to come back. Visit it now before it becomes too popular.

Hands down the best accommodation in Sri Lanka we have booked during our trip. Very big room with private terrace, clean pool, amazing view. However, the best about this accommocation is the stuff, they are SUPER friendly and ready to help you with anything you need. They organized amazing adventures (canyoning, rafting and waterfall abseiling) for us ahead of our arrival. They work with the best and most proffesional company in town - their guides went through official training. We stayed here for longer just because of the atmosphere!! Also the food here is very tasty and they serve alcohol (beer, wine, spirit) if you want to :)

Stunning location right on the river, the views from the balcony of my room were particularly amazing. The staff were extremely attentive and on hand to help with anything I needed. Traditional Sri Lankan food for dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was wonderful and extremely well priced. All round a great place to stay.

Before we even arrived they were very communicative. We ending up arriving late and they sent someone to meet us on the main road to guide us in. They made us a delicious dinner and even went to get us some beers after our long drive. At every opportunity they could not do enough for us. The surrounding area was absolutely stunning in the rainforest. Very peaceful, clean and a crystal clear waterfall to swim in. They arranged us the white water rafting which was also great. I couldn’t recommend more!
