A wonderful getaway if you are looking for a combination of nature, serenity and luxury all in one package. A pristine private beach is in the frontside of the hotel whereas lush green paddy fields can be seen in the backside. A perfect place for birdwatching and relaxation by the beach. We travelled with our son who is 20 months old, so we were very particular about the arrangements. Needless to say that everything was arranged perfectly to suit our needs. They had upgraded us to a sea view suite free of charge which was very nice of them and had arranged an extra bed in the room as well. Mr.Asoka was constantly in contact with us to ensure that we were at comfort. Mr. Nishantha took us on a short hike to Ussangoda mountain in the evening which had fantastic views of sunset and the beach. They had arranged snacks and a kite for our son on the mountain which came as a big surprise. Food was authentic and very delicious. Flexible meal times and private dining was an added advantage particularly since we travelled with a toddler. He enjoyed the pool and the private garden very much. The kitchen staff was kind enough to prepare special meals for our son. They even arranged gifts for him, a birthday cake for my husband and takeaway sandwiches which was very nice of them. All in all, I would say that this is the best holiday we had so far and we thank the whole staff at Ravana Garden for their excellent work and commitment.

Breakfast was very nice. Staff was friendly, and we got a full Sri Lankan meal. They also accommodated our requests and were very attentive.

We stayed in Lankavatara 9 days and we had a wonderful and restoring experience. We choose the location because is very quite and immerse in the nature and after 10 days going around the island we needed a break before leaving. What make our stay unforgettable has been also the staff, all are very helpful and professional, from the staff at the reception, the staff at the restaurant, the staff who clean, and the staff at the spa. Aruni and the Blue Ocean resort team were amazing from start to finish. We booked the ocean view room and it was so stunning that we decided to stay for a month. During that month, we got help from Aruni with booking lagoon tours, setting up a trip to both the safari parks that were nearby and a lot of other things. Whenever we needed tuktuks she would go out of her way to arrange it for us. One time I had to take a sick stray dog to the vet and she arranged everything with the vet and tuktuk to take me there, she even fed him and now he is there often and it was very sweet and she really did not have to do that. I cannot recommend Blue Ocean enough to anyone thinking about staying here. The beach is quiet and huge, there is so much wildlife nearby and there are a couple of restaurants nearby. Whenever we wanted to eat at the resort we would ask her in advance for some fish, lobsters and shrimp. On our last day they even had bbq which was very tasty. Thank you Blue Ocean team. We will definitely be back! And we already miss the two (now three haha) dogs Brownie, Emma and Cheese ball :D

Very nice stay at trendy house near Tangalle. It´s great experience to stay here. It´s designed for couples, but we stayed there with our small daughter. Nature near is very nice, lot of colorful birds, peacocks, and other animals. Beach is little bit far away (maybe 20-25 minutes walk). Breakfast was absolutely great, one of the best in Sri Lanka. Our host was very helpful and always smiling :)

The property looks exactly like the pictures, it is very clean, the views are great. Tasty food, good wi-fi and to top it all was the staff, that did everything so well can feel good and have a nice stay. We would gladly come back anytime.
