The entire team were so friendly and helpful during our stay. Everyone is so passionate and knowledgeable, we loved the spice tour and the ayurvedic massages! The room was spotless and the food was delicious. One of our favourite ever holidays.

The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We had a late arrival due to a delayed flight and he was so accommodating and woke up at very early hours to check us in. He also allowed us to stay later than check in to catch up on some sleep. He cooked us a lovely lunch and arranged our transport, very resourceful!

Only good notes here. Mario is extremely helpful host, he gave us tons of very useful advice about Srí Lanka, also he helped to pin down the perfect travel itinary plan around the country. He offers free ride to the airport, but if you would like to discover Negombo and/or the surrounding area, he is the perfect guide also. He arranges a nice trip to the nearby river, which was really beautiful! Highly recommend this place, a perfect spot to arrive to / or before leaving Srí Lanka. Also the room was super clean, with a mini kitchenette area (sink, kettle), the bed and bedsheet were super comfy.

Our stay at Bolagala Floating resort was the ideal beginning to our honeymoon.The resort is beautifuly designed and proximity to the airport ensured a tranquil start without the usual hustle.Our room,adorned with beautiful decorations,created a romantic ambiance.The highlight was the floating restaurant - an amazing dining experience that added to the charm of one our best stays ever. This little hotel is a true gem in Negombo. It's just off the main street enough to feel like a sanctuary, especially on the rooftop where there is a little restaurant serving excellent food, yet it's close enough to gorgeous beaches and great dining. We opted to stay at the hotel for dinner and I had the best chicken kottu I'd had while in Sri Lanka. The rooms are very stylish and the staff are friendly, professional and hospitable. I would definitely stay here the next time I am in Sri Lanka.

Amazing attentive staff who really do go above and beyond. Will organise your transport to/from the airport for free, really lovely organic home cooked food and comfy lodges. There was a power cut in Colombo as arrived so the owner upgraded us free of charge to his nearby luxury private villa which was so kind and thoughtful.
