What an amazing place! Everything was superb. From the incredible staff who anticipated my every need, to the delicious food and the variety of activities in the area. I was truly surprised by how wonderful the place was. The property is not only perfect for those who appreciate comfort, but also for those looking to explore the nearby cultural sights. The staff were extremely helpful, and always extremely friendly. The price was extremely good for the quality of the hotel. The hotel is just outside of Candy, and not too far away from some amazing hill tea plantations. We rented a car with a driver, which was a very good value and I would certainly recommend.

what an amazing property. we were thoroughly looked after and nothing was too much trouble. the food was exceptional. we wanted traditional Sri Lankan curries and that’s what was prepared for us with spices and fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden. the rooms were huge. the gardens and views were stunningly beautiful and so quiet except for the sounds of the birds and monkeys. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💕

The villa is so beautiful that you don't want to leave it! The location is perfect too, you have a stunning view from the terrace and from the whole building through big windows. The pool is crystal clear, the house itself is also very clean and tidy. One of the best things was staff - we could reach out to Asanka anytime and his responses were always in under a minute. He and the whole team were very welcoming and helpful - whatever we needed, they were ready to help. We also ordered food from the hotel - not everything was to our liking but it's great that you have an option of ordering something in your dining room, and they do the full service: bring food and clean after. Nonetheless we recommend creamy pasta and devilled pork. But the best food was breakfast: delicious fresh juices, fruit, omelette, sausages and grilled bread - it was always a great start of a day. Rooms are spacious, bathroom is very comfortable - there is always hot water and the pressure is good. There is water supply so you don't have to worry about buying plastic bottles. All in all, i really recommend this place, we didn't manage to hike down the river because of the weather, but there is much to do here:)
