It was so good. The owner is very helpful and the rooms are clean. he arranged everything that we wanted, including the transport. we stayed in the family room, with 2 spaces and in one space, it had 3 single beds and another space had a double bed.

We stayed one night at the Backyard Balangoda in the middle of tea plantations. We had our own cabin which was very cozy, clean and modernly equipped. We watched the sunrise on the cabin’s balcony offering a marvellous view over the mountains and tea estates. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and really tasty. The service was just oustanding. The owner is an amazing person and really helpful. We really loved staying at this place and can only recommend visiting when being in Sri Lanka. Big thumps up!

Extremely nice location in the middle of a tea estate. Very helpful and always friendly staff. Good kitchen with south Indian dishes. Many Option to get in contact with locals while wandering around in the tea plantation. Great for walks .

Great location for the walk up Adams Peak. The staff were very helpful with a good local place to eat and timings on when to start walking. Also great breakfast in the morning and they allowed for a slightly later check out which wasn’t needed but good to know.

We checked in a day early and the staff could not have been more helpful. my husband wasn't well and that went above an beyond to help me. The room was the best room I have stayed in in Sri Lanka and the view of Adams Peak was perfect. The pool was heated with sunbeds and towels provided in a lovely setting. The restaurant and food was amazing with a real selection of local and western food - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel and location is fabulous but what really makes it is the staff, so kind, attentive and caring. So glad we ended our trip in such a beautiful place.
