We recently spent five days at Cactus Boralesgamuwa and had a wonderful stay. The apartment occupies the entire upper floor, with private access via an outdoor staircase. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the property itself was well-maintained and spacious. It’s conveniently located near public transportation and shops, which made getting around easy. The furniture throughout the house was high-quality and very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the large outdoor area and balcony. On our last day, the host even surprised us with fresh king coconuts to enjoy before our departure, which was a lovely touch. We’re already looking forward to staying at Cactus again on our next trip to Sri Lanka, and we hope to stay a bit longer to fully enjoy this convenient location for traveling around Colombo.

Their hospitality truly elevated the entire experience. The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for anyone looking to relax. The garden setting creates a calm, refreshing atmosphere, and the rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well arranged with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I especially appreciated the quiet surroundings – it felt like a little getaway from the busy city. Location-wise, it’s very convenient, with easy access to Colombo while still being tucked away in a serene environment. Great value for money, and ideal for both short visits and longer stays. Overall, Pirivena Garden Resort exceeded my expectations in every way. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and truly exceptional service.

If I should come back to Colombo, I would stay here again in any case. The hotel shines with its cleanliness and is very professionally run. The room has everything and everything works perfectly. The staff was very friendly and supportive. I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel here. The closeness to the beach is brilliant. You can reach the ocean in just 2 minutes walking distance and have a beautiful beach for walking and swimming. On the other hand, you are not just in a touristic part of the city and have various local shopping facilities and restaurants right on your doorstep. The location is very quiet and the singing of the birds makes you feel like you're not in the big capital. The internet is very fast and working the whole time. The breakfast was very delicious.
