We spent 3 nights at Moksha and I have to say it truly exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were super comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. The chef team (Sampath, Thank, Manila and Sumudu) were amazing, we told them one time about a something we ate in the market while in Colombo and they made us that dessert for dinner that same day. That's how far and beyond they went for us and every day since they would make us special treats not even on the menu. We did so many activities as well so it wasn't just that the hotel was wonderful but there was so much to do around the area. We went zip lining, canyoning, white water rafting and waterfall abseiling and it was all arranged by the hotel with a very well trained team. I can't recommend this hotel enough to anyone who's looking to just relax or for adventure or a bit of both. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lakshitha is a fantastic host who makes you feel at home from the very first moment. I expressed my interest in visiting a local temple, and he went out of his way to take me to one, even sharing his knowledge of Buddhism and meditation. Everything about our stay was incredible. The staff made our stay extra special. Our room had a private pool which faced the jungle and it was very relaxing to enjoy a dip in the heated pool while being inside the jungle and listening to the river water flowing below. We had monkeys visiting our balcony in the morning. The retreat is facing the river and featured a natural pool for guests to enjoy. Indoneel went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and pleasure, he has even surprised us with a romantic candle dinner. Lalith, the Chef, prepared amazing meals for us and was super kind and friendly too. The retreat had an accommodation for our driver which was a great gesture. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay there again. P.S. they said the food there was halal, which was a great addition

Awesome food, great location with a good view over the mountains and forest with monkeys. Loved the sound of nature in the cabin. Very close to natural pools you can swim and climb through. The service from Rangi was great, thanks!

The room was huge and had an amazing mountain view.. really! The host was helpful and despite not great English language skills, he and his family were super helpful and even organized rafting for us,which was really fun!
