We didn't sleep at the cabin because there was a problem with the booking but the host did everything to organise a place to sleep. We had 2 wonderful safaris on a motorbike and Danushka was an amazing guide with a lot knowledge. We could take a look at the cabin and it was a wonderful place with great view and a pond nearby.

Very nice accommodation, clean, with a nice pool. Typical hotel service with restaurant. We only spent one night here so I can't rate everything. The accommodation arranged a Safari in Yala for us, they arranged a nice Jeep for just the two of us ( I said we could take a shared one, but they can't arrange that - or probably don't want to). Anyway, it was nice not to worry about anything, they even packed us a breakfast to take with us on the Safari as it starts at 4:30am so you are the first in the park and have the best chance of seeing the Leopard. Interesting design of the building

The accommodation is next to rice field for a totally different experince and fantastic view. The room is very spacious with very good aircon and hot water for shower. There is good wifi and many power points to charge multiple mobiles and laptop all at the same time. There is a small refrigerator, kettle, and cups with tea, coffee provided. There is hanging rack for clothing. The room even has a call button if we need to communicate with him. He responded to whatsapp promptly. The host Saradh is very accommodating and always going out of his way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. He served us welcome juice upon arrival and returning from Yala safari. Breakfast is delicious with local menu and in big serving with varieties. He packed for us adequate breakfast for us to bring along for the safari. He helped us arranged Yala safari and help us with transport for our next destination. He ensured we had a very comfortable stay. We were well taken care of throughout our stay and very happy with the service extended. Highly recommended to choose Village Mango Resort Yala if we visit Tissa for Yala safari.

Wery good location. Rooms are clean and comfy. Amazing view from terrace to the rice fields. Owners are very positive, welcoming and service oriented. Good comunication and clear instrucitions in all. We ordered safari through appartment owners and it was a perfect service - on time, good car and good driver. Price corresponds to the market price. There is possibility to order a lunch and dinner - my advice - use this offer, as it was delicios and for reasonable price. Location, Staff, food, facilities everything is so so good. The staff were so lovely and welcomed us with a tender coconut welcome drink even though we reached there a little late. We ordered dinner, and without hesitation, they prepared it for us. I travelled with elderly family members with so many dietary restrictions, they accompanied us with smiles. Sampath our chef there is amazing and so humble. The whole place is surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden full of flowers. Overall, we started our Srilanka trip in this place, they have us a positive vibration and a good vibe for our entire trip. I strongly recommend this place whether you travel alone or with your family. Additionally, book a safari with them, great drivers are available to make your Yala Safari memorable trip as well.

If you're coming to Tissa and this hotel is available, book it! Of everywhere we stayed in Sri Lanka, this is by far the most welcoming, clean and comfortable stay we've had. The owner (Indika), and his staff go the extra mile to make you feel well-looked after - we were welcomed with sweet iced tea, had a car booked for us, free bicycle hire and Indika even took us to see our hoppers being cooked as we were interested in the process. The room was modern and immaculate with quiet air con and a comfy bed, and the bathroom was pristine with a hot & powerful shower. Overall incredible value for money and the dinner was outstanding - we ended up having two dinners and breakfast there because it was so good!
