This is a wonderful place to stay; fantastic if you are on a budget and understand the facilities are basic. There is electricity, warm water and a comfortable bed...in a fabulous location with fabulous hosts. You will see an array of wildlife (porcupine, bats, crocs, elephants and exotic birds). Danoushka and Anousha were warm, welcoming and kind. We loved our stay here and felt part of nature. Anousha cooks delicious Sri Lankan food and Danoushka is knowledgeable about the local area; We went on a tuk tuk drive with him to see various temples and sites of historic importance - a highlight of our stay in Sri Lanka. My husband also did an early morning bird spotting safari on the back of a motor bike which enabled him to take some close shots of the abundant bird life. Jungle cabin gave us the experience of "real" Sri Lanka and, as a middle aged couple, it was an absolute pleasure to spend time with the hosts and enjoy their home. We would not hesitate to recommend this as a rustic place to stay...make the most of Danoushka's local and wildlife knowledge and...enjoy the tranquility.

The staff at Hotel River Front is 100% the reason you should stay here! They arranged our transport from Mirissa, and to Ella. Booked our safari and sent us with a packed breakfast. We ate dinner at the restaurant at the hotel and it was so good and affordable too! Their safari driver was great, we saw 2 bears and 2 leopards along with elephants and everything else we'd hoped to see. This is a perfect place to stay to safari in Yala.

Everything was outstanding! The pool and the huge garden are perect for relaxing after a day of safari. The team also arranged a safari for us which was really cool for a fair price. The dedication of the the staff at Village Mango Resort was fantastic. They organised our safari tour prepared breakfast to take with us at 0430am. We returned for an exceptional lunch the absolute best home cooked meal we have had in Sri Lanka the Aubergine curry was the best.

Wery good location. Rooms are clean and comfy. Amazing view from terrace to the rice fields. Owners are very positive, welcoming and service oriented. Good comunication and clear instrucitions in all. We ordered safari through appartment owners and it was a perfect service - on time, good car and good driver. Price corresponds to the market price. There is possibility to order a lunch and dinner - my advice - use this offer, as it was delicios and for reasonable price. We had our best time at Nehansa Resort, The room was very clean and nice, the staff was very kind and always watching how they could do the best for us. We got a free lake safari before the sunset and they organised everything for our full day safari for the next day. I could not recommend this resorr enough! If you want to go for a Safari at Yala stay here, you will get the best service and everything you can imagine.

We loved absolutely everything! We stayed only one night, but the place was so lovely that we would loved to stay more!! We had booked a safari, so we had to wake up 4am , and our host already had made breakfast for us to take with on Safari ride! He packed everything like your mom would, and that was such a nice surprise! The evening we arrived he offered two bikes for us to take a ride to a local restaurant and that also was just an amazing experience to ride a bike throught rice paddies and next to a huge like down to local streets! You wont regret staying here cause they really have a good service policy! BTW , this stay has a hot water!! Thats a huge pluss in Sri Lanka !
