The accommodation is next to rice field for a totally different experince and fantastic view. The room is very spacious with very good aircon and hot water for shower. There is good wifi and many power points to charge multiple mobiles and laptop all at the same time. There is a small refrigerator, kettle, and cups with tea, coffee provided. There is hanging rack for clothing. The room even has a call button if we need to communicate with him. He responded to whatsapp promptly. The host Saradh is very accommodating and always going out of his way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. He served us welcome juice upon arrival and returning from Yala safari. Breakfast is delicious with local menu and in big serving with varieties. He packed for us adequate breakfast for us to bring along for the safari. He helped us arranged Yala safari and help us with transport for our next destination. He ensured we had a very comfortable stay. We were well taken care of throughout our stay and very happy with the service extended. Highly recommended to choose Village Mango Resort Yala if we visit Tissa for Yala safari.

Wery good location. Rooms are clean and comfy. Amazing view from terrace to the rice fields. Owners are very positive, welcoming and service oriented. Good comunication and clear instrucitions in all. We ordered safari through appartment owners and it was a perfect service - on time, good car and good driver. Price corresponds to the market price. There is possibility to order a lunch and dinner - my advice - use this offer, as it was delicios and for reasonable price. This place is so cute! We only stayed here for one night so that we had a home base for our Yala national park tour. We came early but they let us check in and hangout at the beautiful pool for the afternoon. The in house chef took care of our meals, which were Sri Lankan food - so delicious! They also prepped our breakfast early in the morning to go for our tour. The value for this place is amazing!

Best place to stay when you go to Bundala! The cottages are super beautiful and the location is insane. It’s right by the lake where you can see so much wildlife. Chami and his wife are so incredibly friendly, they made our stay unforgettable. Also highly recommend doing a safari with Chami - he’s so knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife.
