From the warm welcome upon our arrival to the personalized service throughout our stay, they went above and beyond to make us feel like valued guests. The level of attentiveness and professionalism demonstrated by the team was truly remarkable. The dining experience at Casa Heliconia was a culinary delight. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, featuring fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The chef's creativity shone through in every dish, and we were constantly surprised and delighted by the flavors and presentations.

The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We had a late arrival due to a delayed flight and he was so accommodating and woke up at very early hours to check us in. He also allowed us to stay later than check in to catch up on some sleep. He cooked us a lovely lunch and arranged our transport, very resourceful!

This is the perfect place to land after a long flight. The environment is calm with a nice garden and the sound of birds in the morning. But even better is the hospitality of the hosts. Such a lovely family! They helped us out in every way they could, even before we had arrived at their place. Also, Eranda took us to a nice and quiet temple in his tuktuk. And Anusha makes wonderful meals! We could not have wished for a better start in Sri Lanka. Also convenient: the train station is close by.

The host and the care taker were very flexible with check in and check out times and process. Close to Gampaha town centre but not yet in the town centre so has idyllic nature to it. It is an old family home carefully converted to a guest house. Selva the care taker was kind and attentive.
