If you would like to enjoy the great landscape, but want to avoid the overcrowded Ella, then go to Demodara and stay at the fantastic Greenline Homestay. The host just took care of everything. He picked me up from the station, organized me a driver and gave me loads of useful information. The rooms are spacious, equipped with everything you need and very clean. The value for money you get is just simply amazing. Also try the great food offered by the host, you won’t regret it.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with a spectacular view from the restaurant and pool area. The breakfast is varied and delicious with a selection of continental and Sri Lanka dishes. We also had a lunch meal which was excellent, particularly the curry. The staff are very accommodating and the rooms are large and comfortable.

Magical peaceful space set about 2k from the city of Ella, with a short tuck tuck ride to the city centre. A family run business who was so kind and nice. A big, healthy breakfast. A large double room with a big private balcony. Really comfortable bed. Would highly recommend for people who don't want to be in the madness and loudness of Ella. The owner arranged everything for us. He even recommended a lovely restaurant and dropped us to the door.

We loved the property and the staff. The location is absolutely stunning and we had the most amazing 5 nights here. Krisha is an absolute legend and super friendly and helpful along with the other staff members. The food is also delicious. We didn’t want to leave!

Amazing host , room and location! Host was very nice, he prepared for us a great breakfast. We were so full we didn't feel the need to have lunch after. The room is very clean and has a lot of charm . The bathroom is spacious and clean. We slept really well since the location is very peaceful but still on a walking distance to all best nightlife. AC and insect repellent were a great plus. Best value for many ! Exceeded our expectation and we will definitely come back again!
