Delightful place surrounded by nature, family-run, managed by a very kind lady 🌸The host is always available to recommend activities nearby and to provide transportation services at honest prices 🛺Very clean rooms. The best cuisine we have tried in Sri Lanka, the lady is the queen of the stove! 🥘Recommended for both breakfast and dinner! If we ever return to Sri Lanka we will definitely make another stop at the Yaluwa Tourist Rest & Cooking!💐

The host and is family are incredibly kind, welcoming, gentle and helpful ! Very peaceful place, quiet ! Bedroom is very comfy, super bathroom with a lot of water pression They welcomed us with a tea and homemade biscuits ! And he helped us a lot and gave us a lot of advice We rent bicycle to go around it was super easy !

Breakfast was great! This was arranged under a shady 'Arjun Tree' (Kumbuk in Sinhala) in the charming compound filled with bird calls, butterflies right in front of the room. It was so appealing, appetizing, delicious and wholesome. The hospitality of the owners of the Golden Gate Ceylon was great indeed. The place is so quiet, secure and peaceful. You will really feel the tranquil.

I stayed here for one nights. The breakfast was very tasty and clean. it was a pleasant experience.The check-in process was quick and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful.My room was clean and comfortable with a modern bathroom.The hotel restaurant offered a wide variety of dishes,from local specialties to international cuisine, and everything I tried was delicious.I’d definitely consider staying here again

While the meals took a bit longer to prepare, the freshness and quality were well worth the wait. The staff at Subaseth Villa went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Their willingness to assist with any request, from room service to arranging tours, truly exemplified their dedication to hospitality. Nestled amidst the tranquil jungle surroundings, the hotel provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The sight of peacocks, monkeys, and squirrels frolicking in the hotel garden added an extra layer of charm to the experience. One highlight of my stay was the early morning packed breakfast provided for our Wilpattu tour at 5:30 am. It was a thoughtful touch that allowed us to start our day of exploration on the right foot. Moreover, the presence of an organic coconut and mango grove on the premises added a delightful tropical touch to the experience, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and locally sourced produce.
