The host and friends were amazing. Helped with everything, even showed me around the lakes. I saw elephants at sunset at the lake and the birdlife in the morning was amazing. Food was great by the hosts also!

Bindu, his family, and his friends are very hospitable people. When we arrived we went to Buduruwagala. After we came back to Bindu's place we had one of the best rice n curry during our time in Sri Lanka. And in the morning we for sure had the best breakfast in our 3 week journey. Thanks a lot again #Bindu's wife :). At this day we did a trip to explore the near by waterfalls. It was super good to be guided by Bindu's friend Nuwan who grew up in this area and knows all the short cuts in the region. He is a fun guy and we had a nice time. Regards to Nuwan. We really liked staying here in order to have less stress with seeing the Diyaluma Falls! The Family is very kind and we felt really lucky to have picked this hotel, because it is right at the starting point of the trail to the falls (20 minutes by foot:) We can definitely recommend planning a stay there before/after going to Ella. The food is also very good and the view is simply breathtaking!

We reserved this place to see the diyaluma falls in the early morning (in this period in the afternoon there is too much water). The host has been fantastic! There was an electricity problem that day so he brought has with his tuk tuk to its friend restaurant where we had a very good dinner! Next morning at 6 he took us at the top of diyaluma falls (he is a local guide) explaining things and taking pictures. Back at the accomodation, we had our favorite local breakfast of our trip! Very good and very abundant. Very good experience and very good time there!
