Lovely, comfortable hotel in Walapane. We loved everything about it. Our room with ensuite bathroom was fabulous, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We ate dinner and breakfast there, and both were delicious. Highly recommended.

The hotel is in the middle of the tea plantation with an incredible view. The staff is super kind and always available for any requests. The amenities are gorgeous and refined in all details, surrounded by a very well maintained garden. Dinner available (but you need to reserve) and breakfast was excellent. There’s also a lovely swing for instagram photos :) Would love to return!

⭐ (10/10) Fetnale Retreat was simply unforgettable. Set in the mountains and jungle, it had the most breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The green Castle has one of the most beautiful views in the world and by far the best we saw in Sri Lanka. It is small family run business to a very high standards. Unfortunately we only had one night at the hotel. We were treated to the most amazing dinner which were superb. The food kept coming and to be honest we didn't do it justice. The room was amazing and beautiful decorated out. Breakfast was again equally delicious as dinner with more than enough food to feed and army. Greetings to the hotel was and experience - our guide was unsure our vehicle would manage the terrain so he contacted the hotel and Randika met us to ensure we were okay. I strongly recommended if you visit Sri Lanka and in the kandy area make a point of staying at this hotel - You won't be disappointed

The beauty of the house exceeded all our expectations! Every single detail is well thought out and perfectly placed. It feels like you never want to leave—you just want to stay forever. The staff is incredibly professional, and the breakfast is outstanding, on par with five-star hotels in Paris. The only thing I’m sad about is that we had only two days there. But we already know—we’re coming back next year!

Wonderful place to stay. Staff was super friendly and welcoming(special thanks to Shyamali and Kasun for being so nice). Food was exceptional. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. View was amazing.
