I had a wonderful stay at this private luxury cottage near Galle. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage was exceptionally clean, with comfortable linens and all the necessary amenities, including tea, coffee, hot water, and toiletries—all provided free of charge. The complimentary WiFi covered the entire cottage, ensuring a seamless connection. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, served in a peaceful setting with the soothing sounds of birds and stunning nature views. The location is ideal, close to popular tourist attractions such as waterfalls and monasteries. Additionally, the nearby village offers unique experiences like cinnamon peeling, hiking, and birdwatching. Overall, this cottage is a perfect blend of comfort and nature, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

Impeccable service, from the warm welcome at the entrance to the attentive staff throughout our stay. Every detail was carefully considered, making it a truly unforgettable experience. The room was nice, had a nice comfortable sleep. The attention to cleanliness and comfort exceeded my expectations. Waking up to the sounds of birds was an added luxury you get here with natural surroundings. the unobstructed mountain view from my room was a perfect setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

10/10 and more... The guest house is very nice, everything is new, clean, the room is specious, comfortable bed and a great shower! The view of the beautiful garden is just so calming, in 5min you can walk to the nearby beach and the local Buddhist temple. BUT the most beautiful thing about Sea Horizon is the family who runs it: they are the most amazing people... so kind, friendly, helpful and welcoming. I had a great stay, I will definitely come back here ❤️ Everyone took very good care of me, the ladies cook fantastic homemade meals, you'll love every breakfast and dinner, I promise! And the uncle is such a lovely man to chat to! A special thanks goes to Sana (owner's brother) who always helped me to explore the area and kept me company. 🙏

The staff were absolutely amazing – very kind and thoughtful. They even arranged a separate breakfast for our baby without us having to ask, and offered to carry him while we enjoyed our meal. Truly kid-friendly staff who made us feel so comfortable. The service was excellent, the ambiance was superb, and everything was well taken care of. Beautiful colonial house, quaint, clean, comfortable and recently refurbished ! Very close to the beach and only a 10 minute walk to the village centre ! The ownner , pleasant and helpful , is excellent at organizing tours as well as driving you there. A good and tasty breakfast is served at Blue Maalu Resort , a short distance away ( 5 minute walk ), with an fantastic sea view overlooking a small clean beach !
