The place is way beyond every expectation and the hosts are the most amazing couple we could ever meet! I would need an entire book to list everything that impressed us positively. The accomodation is really cozy and super comfortable and the setting is magical, really quiet and immerse in nature. The breakfast, all home made, was delicious and Dammika was incredibly kind to come and pick us up at the train station. Will never recommend this place enough, I’m so thankful! Can’t wait to come back

a perfect, exceptional modern uniqe place where you can enjoy your vacation, a beautifully clean new house above ground with an open bathroom where you will experience the feeling of showering under a waterfall in the jungle, comfortable spacious beds, i had a best sleeping spacious rooms suitable for 4 people, they had a kettle with tea and coffee, a fridge, balconies on both floors, friendly approach of the owners and a great breakfast, I will definitely come back here again, you made my trip beautiful and I am grateful that I could stay here enjoy

Location is calm and peaceful. They have a nice infinity swimming pool overlooking lake , Staff is so welcoming and well trained. Good restaurant and good sitting places. Rooms are spacious and kept very neat and tidy. The sunset view is absolutely amazing from room and pool this hotel. Totally worth the money.

Taking a step back and comparing Spice Village to other hotels and restaurants we have been to over the last 3 weeks, I can only say that it was great experience of Sri Lankan hospitality and genuine kindness. We very rapidly felt like friends rather than clients. We have been offered cooking demonstrations, garden tour, tea party,… you name it. Our two hosts were wonderful and put a lot of effort in conveying an unforgettable image of Sri Lanka. Moreover Madou is a great cook and prepared all kinds of dishes not on the menu card, delicious traditional SL cuisine.

It was a great experience at Sky forest. Loved everything about the stay. It's amazing how the architecture of the cabanas and tree house blends with nature seamlessly. The caretaker is friendly and professional. Attentive to our needs immediately. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Clean and spacious washroom. The food was great. Habarana is a small town located at a crossroads and a main road. It is therefore very accessible to other important cities, such as Polonnaruwa, Trincomalee, Dambulla, Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, etc. As well as to the natural parks, which are located nearby. Public transport is perfectly provided. The town has the necessary facilities such as shops, a bank, a post office, a doctor, etc. The beautiful surrounding nature, and easily accessible lakes, are also an advantage.

Farm Cottage was peaceful and very comfortable. The room was clean and cozy, and the surroundings were quiet and relaxing. The host was friendly and helpful. A perfect place to unwind – I’d definitely stay again!

Good location to visit the National parks where Elephants roam. Take a short drive to Ritigala and be amazed at the heritage site of a millenia old large forest monastery. Dine at the Ran Rasa restaurant for one of the best Chicken Koththus you will taste..

Beautiful jungle surrounds. Lots of activities. Safari doesn't tell you about all the extra costs involved. Entry fee big. Tip for animal spotter. The Harabana lake cruise is brilliant. No motor just a gentle paddle, allowing you get up close to wildlife

There are loads to do in Habarana.

There are loads to do in Habarana. Nice places to eat and drink. One unexpected pleasure was the village safari. You go for a ride on a old tractor, then a lovely boat ride across the lake. You are then shown the old traditional way of preparing and make food. Also shown other local crafts.

Amazing stay, highly recommend. Room was a good size, really clean, nice bathroom Hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. Helped us plan out time in habarana, picked us up from the station when our train got in in the evening. Also offered dinner for an additional cost. This was nicer than many restaurants we ate at during our time in sri lanka and a lot cheaper. Great location, easy to get to shops and restaurants and easy to get a taxi/tuk tuk

Highly recommended hotel to stay! I had a wonderful experience at the Sungreen Resort. Everything about the hotel was exceptional.
