Mahamed and Fatima are the most wonderful hosts, and there is no doubt they enjoy having guests, and want their guests to be as comfortable as possible. They made our stay truly memorable, and I wish we had time to stay longer. I will for sure be back, this place comes highly recommended from me! Surroundings are gorgeous, hiking on every corner, it's quiet and calm, and you will eat like a queen with Fatima's food (she should have a restaurant). I haven't eaten that well in all of Sri Lanka, and it's been my most pleasant stay. If you are into nature, mental relaxation, great food, and slowing down a bit, do make sure to book at least two/three nights with them, and just enjoy!

Amazing place! We were truly amazed for this place that it for sure exceeded our expectations! - First thing that has captivated us is a breathtaking view of tea plantations and mountains from the balcony. There are comfortable chairs - The food is served in the separate big room with the panoramic windows so you can enjoy the wonderful view while eating. - Breakfast was very delicious. We also ordered a dinner twice, and it was great as well: large portions and national cuisine. - The room itself is one of the largest we have been staying while traveling in Sri Lanka. Very clean and comfortable. - The host was very hospitable and kind. He also helped us to organized trips to tea plantations and the waterfall for good prices.

We had a great experience at Icy Falls. It is located in a quite village, close to Horton Plains National Park, so it is the ideal hotel you could stay if you want to visit the park. Staff was very helpful, the room was huge, clean, confortable and it also has a balcony with an amazing view. We also had dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious. I definitly recommend this hotel
