We had a wonderful time here. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a private pool and a beautiful river view. The bed was super cozy and the AC worked perfectly. Breakfast was excellent and really delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Wilpattu!

This is quite simply an exceptional hotel, made so not only by our beautiful room and the surroundings, but by Mark and the team of people who made our stay so special. This is one we will always remember for being unique and idylic. Our kayak on the lake with Ravi was fantastic and Ravi's knowledge about the wildlife was exceptional. The whole team were there at 4.30am to ensure we had everything we could possibly ask for before our early morning safari. I can not praise our stay highly enough and we would have loved to have stayed for longer. Thank you Mark and everyone who made our stay so very perfect.

An absolutely breathtaking hideout in the jungles of Wilpattu, supposed to Sri Lanka's largest wid life park. Delicious meals & very friendly atmosphere with staff lead by energetic Kumari a lady. We were greeted by the site of Elephants on the drive way to the resort. The entrance to the park is very nearby & the tracker Aslam made every endeavor t get proper sightings of animals which included two leopards. A must visit holiday resort to all tourists visiting Sri Lanka. Thank you Kumari & Rohitha.

The property is ideally located just a few minutes away from the Wilpattu Park.. The amount of ground this property covers gives you ample space for kids to enjoy themselves as well. The staff were a great and made us feel at home. The rooms were kept clean and comfortable. Thank you to the Kay Jay Wild and the staff there for making our stay a special one. We will be back!

Set within the forest it is an oasis of calm. The staff were friendly and keen to help. The accommodation is quirky, fairly basic but comfortable. The food was excellent and plentiful. There are a number of activities and excursions available, or you can simply relax on your veranda up in the trees. There are a number of chill out zones.

Wild wadi is the place if your up for a wild get away. Surrounded by the beauty of wildlife and nature wild wadi has alot to offer. At our stay we were able to travel all the way to thambapanni via safari and breakfast in the jungle. Towards the evening kayaking in the lagoons and later endless boat rides over the lagoon followed by delicious seafood bbq for dinner. My family was able to relax and have an awesome time at our stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to visit again.

The Sanctuary is an outstanding place. The building itself it’s beautiful designed and decorated, fitting in well to the natural surroundings. The room and all the fittings feel high quality and a luxurious, a real treat when budget back packing. The nature that it is surrounded by is truly beautiful and peaceful. The perfect place to sit back and relax! What makes The Sanctuary so special is the staff. So welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Their knowledge of the animals and plants that you will see on walks around the premises is amazing, so well educated and genuine. The food cooked by mum is 10/10 and you will not leave hungry. They made our safari day so enjoyable and truly perfect!! I can not recommend this place enough, it’s a new venture for the team and they do it so well!! Thank you so much to everyone involved.

Our stay at Wilpattu Nature Resort was unforgettable! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering a peaceful escape right next to nature. We enjoyed delicious home-cooked meals, especially the breakfast and dinner, which were full of local flavors. The highlight of our stay was the kayaking, lagoon safari, and camping experiences. Being so close to Wilpattu National Park, we also joined a thrilling safari and spotted incredible wildlife. The resort even has its own island and two camping sites, perfect for adventure lovers. The peaceful riverside setting, friendly staff, and unique activities like fishing, cycling, and boat tours make this place truly special. We really enjoyed staying at this place. Nice and clean bungalows in a calm area, where you can spend some relaxing or working time. The resort has also a restaurant which offers breakfast, lunch & dinner. We recommend a smoothie bowl with a cup of a good coffee for a great start of the day. ☺️ The beach is good for kite surfing, you can get a recommendation for a kite surf lessons from a host. We would definitely spend there more time if we could. Thank you!
