Exceptional stay — one of our all-time top 10 hotels Natalia and I must have stayed in thousands—if not over 10,000—hotels in our lifetime. Only a handful truly stay with you and make you want to return. This place in Ahangama made it straight into our personal top 10. The stay is extremely personal and detail-oriented, with great service, a wonderful vibe, and beautiful design. And the view… wow. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean is all you need. The food is creative and delicious, the coffee is amazing, and overall the value for money is outstanding. A very strong recommendation from us. If you’re coming to the south, you will not be disappointed.

Super friendly and helpful staff. They go out of their way to make sure everything runs smoothly. We asked if the room could be made a bit darker, and they sorted it without any hassle. The pool is great. We used it every day. The co-working area is solid too. Fast WiFi, plenty of space, and a good setup to get work done. Location is perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

Incredible location, and even better rooms! My favourite stay of my 3 week trip. I was very kingly upgraded to the top floor and omg it was PERFECT. Beautiful, so so so clean and such lovely staff. Water views and welcome juice was top tier.

The villa itself exudes charm and elegance, with spacious rooms that are meticulously designed for comfort. Our accommodation boasted not only comfortable beds but also a fully equipped kitchen, providing us with the convenience of preparing our own meals if we wished to do so. This thoughtful inclusion added a level of flexibility to our stay, making us feel right at home. However, what truly set Villa Rumassala apart was its exceptional staff, who went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Menaka, in particular, epitomized hospitality with her warm demeanor and attention to detail. Her genuine care for our comfort and satisfaction truly made us feel like royalty. Additionally, we cannot speak highly enough of the Tuktuk driver, Sandaru, whose fair prices and friendly demeanor made exploring the area a breeze. The best resort in south Sri Lanka!! It was a pleasure to stay in this resort, the facilities are amazing, and brand new. The staff are incredibly polite with very good English speaking. They made the check-in process very nice & smooth and helped recommend places to see and visit on the South Coast. My room was also very comfortable, considering most places I've stayed in Sri Lanka the bed tends to be a little harder, but the rooms in Terra Resort had the comfiest bed & pillows. The location is also a short 5ish min walk to the main beach of Kabalana which makes it really easy to get around. The reception also has tuktuk call services too, that come to pick you up from the resort if you want to get into town or go surfing. I highly recommend this place if it's your first time in Sri Lanka, Or if you looking for an earthy boutique-style place to stay, it made my journey to this country all the sweeter.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. Kasun and his great team really made it special. From beginning to the end everything was taken well care of and in perfect order. The food is delicious! We had dinner both nights and it was perfect. The breakfast is stunning and served in the most scenic location. The room is airy, pretty designed and the bed is comfy. It feels like a vip experience with only 4 rooms and the pool is breathtaking too. We hope to come back another time! 😍

I really recommend the sky view cabin in Unawatuna 😃 The place was clean, comfortable and it was really good idea to build cabin in this style. I really enjoyed the time I’ve spent there. Owner was extremely friendly and his wife made excellent and tasty food. The owner also invited us to the museum where he told us the history of Sri Lanka. It was very interesting💕
