Haputale is a lot nicer than for instance Ella- quiter, less tourists, perfect hiking, etc. And Vantage Hills have a breath taking view of the valley below. The staff is the kindest people possible.

Fantastic host & clean, beautiful facilities! Exactly as pictured, can hear the waterfall from your bed & can see it from the room’s terrace. Breakfast brought to the room daily was delicious & our host was amazing with drawing us maps to the hiking points and organising scooters or Tuk Tuks for us! Town was a 7minutes walk along the train track

Beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious, well-kept, and clean. Each room has an amazing view of the greenery. Very kind and helpful staff. They really take care of their guests. I stayed there with a friend and we felt well looked after. The staff help with arranging transport to the places you want to visit. You can definitely relax at this property. We would be happy to come back again.

A very nice hotel in Ella. The rooms are large and clean. The manager is extremely friendly and courteous. He always asks if everything is okay and responds immediately to any requests. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide selection of local and international specialties. The hotel is in a great location. It is secluded, so you can enjoy peace and quiet, but the main street is only a few minutes' walk away. The view is spectacular. We would definitely come back again.

The staff here are exceptionally well-trained, polite, and genuinely friendly. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and hassle-free. A special mention goes to Dilshan, who was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Even the owner personally dropped us into town in his own car, which shows the level of care and hospitality offered here. The property itself is very clean, well maintained, and has an elegant charm. The views from the hotel are truly breathtaking — some of the best you can see anywhere. Adding to the charm are their two beautiful dogs, Tubby and Lolly, who make you feel even more at home. The family is so accommodating and friendly that you genuinely feel like part of their home rather than just a guest. The hospitality and service we received were far beyond what we paid for, making this stay truly memorable.

Amazing place with very comfortable, clean and new room. We decided to extend our stay because we loved it so much ! Very friendly and available staff. The food was excellent and we asked for a dinner one night. The surroundings are very calm. Highly recommend !
