What a lovely place to stay. Incedible view that you can admire straight from your bed. Spacious and comfortable rooms that have everything you need: big and comfy bed, well equiped bathroom, big windows and a tarace where you will have delicious and healthy home made breakfasts. The room was very clean and all the property is well maintaned. And most of all I was very delighted by great hospitality and service provided by the owner. Highly recommend this place especially, if you want to be close to very lively Ella town, but far enough to rather enjoy sounds and beauty of nature. Thank you for this incedible time I had during my stay in Tea Hills Ella!

We stayed for a few nights in the cottages which offered a high standard of accommodation. The view was stunning, the mattresses were incredibly comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly an proffesional - especially the main host - Gamini, who was exceptionally approachable, helpful and recommended many great places to visit. Highly recommended!

The rooms were tidy and clean. The view both from the rooms and from the rooftop was beyond expectation. Location is 10/10 super close to the train station/city center. Last but not least our host and the entire staff were amazingly kind and helpful people!!

If you are looking for a quiet home stay to take a break from hotels, then this is the perfect place for you. We only stayed here for one night as it was our overnight stop on our way to Galle, but it was enough time to see how special this place is. It is newly built, located above the road away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It has a beautiful mountain view that you will appreciate as soon as you open your eyes in the morning. It is well maintained, clean and tidy. However, the whole experience would not have been the same without the warm welcome and hospitality of the owner Chathu and her family. They organized a Sri Lankan dinner and breakfast for us and made us feel very welcome. If we ever find ourselves in Ella again, we will definitely be back. During our recent trip to Ella, we had the pleasure of staying at Rawana Mount View and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm Sri Lankan hospitality that made us feel like part of the family. The owner and his assistant was really friendly and were incredible hosts. They greeted us with smiles, offered us a refreshing drink, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The food at Rawana Mount View is simply delicious! Every meal was bursting with fresh flavors, and we highly recommend trying their traditional Sri Lankan dishes. Breakfast was a highlight—especially the Sri Lankan pancakes and freshly brewed tea. Dinner was a special experience as well, with options that reflect the local culinary heritage. The meals are prepared with love and care, and you can really taste the authenticity in every bite. One of the highlights of our stay was the local guide, Mr Blum, that the owners introduced us to. He was not only knowledgeable about the area but also extremely passionate. We had a fantastic evening walk to Eagle Rock to watch the sun go down and his insights made the trip so much more enriching. His guidance and stories about his meetings with leopards were highly entertaining. Comfortable Rooms with Hot Showers The rooms at Rawana Mount View are cozy and very comfortable. The bed was perfect for a good night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The highlight was the hot shower—after hiking through the lush landscapes, it was an absolute treat! The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and provide the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. In conclusion, Rawana Mount View Ella offers an exceptional stay for anyone visiting Ella. Whether you're drawn to the stunning views, the welcoming atmosphere, or the authentic food, this place will exceed your expectations. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with kind-hearted owners and great service, We highly recommend it!

What an amazing stay! We were there for 3 days. Our room was super spacious, clean and well-furnished. We had access to a cute balcony to watch the sun rise and the evening mist cover the land. The room stays cool when the days are hot and heavy. There’s warm water and a blanket for the rainy ones. We stayed in one afternoon due to the weather and it was very cosy. The owners are very welcoming and eager to help. They arranged a scooter rental for us and helped us define our itinerary. The food was particularly delicious, we ate there two nights in a row. The place is also very well located and you can start hiking to the jungle bird sanctuary or the ancient catholic monastery right from the doorstep. I recommend to take the stairs and go uphill to enjoy the breathtaking view.
