The location was great. If you don't want to stay in crowded Arugambay this is the right place for you. You have your own pirvate beach, a little cabana, good food at the restaurant and it is the cleanest hotel we have been in Sri Lanka.

The hotel is SUPER! The best hotel during my entire trip to Sri Lanka (I was in more than 15 hotels in 24 days). Very cozy atmosphere. There are only 6 bungalows in hotels, it's not overcrowded. Delicious food, better than in the most cafes on the island. Very comfortable and friendly hosts! The pool is great! Everything is thought out - deck chairs, a place for sunbathing right in the water. The pool is surrounded of palm trees! It's about 50-100 meters to the sea. The only negative thing for lovers of flat water is big waves on the coast. Therefore, I spent 3 days next to the pool and absolutely happy about this! ))) But also it has a very beautiful sunrise! Absolutely stunning beach front hotel, pool was great with the kids, the chef was incredible - every dish was super tasty. We loved the outdoor chilling area and bean bags. Rooms were very spacious and stunning views of the ocean. And it was so close to the hustle of Arugam Bay!

Swiss Bay is perfectly located right at the start of Arugam Bay’s main street. From the balcony, you can spot the elephant viewpoint where an elephant usually visits in the mornings and evenings. The beach is just a quick 2–3 minute walk across the road, making the location absolutely ideal. We stayed in the corner room with an L-shaped balcony, and it was just amazing. The room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the facilities you’d expect from a top-notch stay. Even the bathroom stood out — we genuinely loved it. Everything matched the pictures and description perfectly, so you get exactly what’s promised. The caretaker and the owner were both incredibly warm and helpful, making us feel at home right away. They even allowed us a late checkout since our shuttle was leaving at 1 pm, which we really appreciated. On our last day, they treated us to a banana shake that was absolutely delicious — such a sweet gesture. If you’re considering booking this place, don’t hesitate — go for it! We’re already certain we’ll be staying here again.
