It was great stay in a very attractive place with such lovely environment. The Villa was very clean and so beautiful. The owners never treat as guests they use to treat us as their own family and we were so comfortable. The foods were offered on our request and they were so delicious. We had a nice welcome upon checking in, and the instructions given by the front desk were very clear. We also had our own guest relations officer which was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was pretty awesome, I loved the selection of curries to go with the Sri Lankan breakfast items, and they even had rice congee which was a first on our trip for us. The room was veryyy comfortable and the bed was perfectly firm. There was a slight problem with the blinds in the room when we checked in, but they got it fixed within 15 minutes. I used the gym in the morning and was pleasantly surprised to find barbells available which is great. The equipment is well kept and there is a good variety of machines available. The location of the hotel is perfect if you plan to do some surfing, it's easy to find a surf school just on weligama beach, steps away from the hotel. We used the spa on our last morning there and I had a good experience with the therapist and the booking of the spa session was also very seamless. Overall it was a great experience from all touch points, from the check in, to the in room service, restaurant, gym, spa, and also at check out. It's a five star hotel so of course it's going to be expensive, but worth the price if you want to have a relaxing holiday by the beach.

About the room: Attention to Detail: From smooth AC performance to beautifully appointed bathrooms, strong showers, and well-placed plug sockets, everything functioned seamlessly in an environment that looks beautiful yet remains highly practical ( room number 7, I highly recommend). Location: the hotel offers good location to sandy shores. I easily rented a scooter with Enriquo ( the owner, he helped me rent it ) and rode it right to the beach for surfing. ( you can check in how far is it from the beach online ) Public area: One standout feature is the spacious rooftop area—a peaceful, open-design terrace offering panoramic sea views. It’s a wonderful spot to relax, read, or enjoy a meal above the treetops.

During our stay at Hotel Coastline Mirissa we were completely immersed in luxury and tranquility. This beautiful hotel combines a modern style with the natural beauty of the Sri Lankan coast. From the moment we arrived we felt more than welcome thanks to the friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and offer breathtaking views of the ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves and a sunrise that colours the sky red and gold was truly magical. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spotlessly clean. The infinity pool is an absolute must-see. Here you can relax with a cocktail in hand while looking out over the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. In addition, the restaurant serves delicious dishes ranging from fresh seafood to local specialities that are carefully prepared. Breakfast is a feast in itself, with a wide selection of fresh fruit, juices and hot dishes. The location is perfect: within walking distance of Mirissa beach and close to various attractions, such as whale watching excursions and beautiful viewpoints. The hotel also offers assistance in planning activities, which made our stay extra special. Hotel Coastline Mirissa is a place where you can not only relax, but also experience the hospitality and beauty of Sri Lanka. We definitely recommend this hotel and hope to come back soon!

The property and the surroundings are just amazing, the room is new, clean and the resort has many different amenities enjoyable during the stay. What has made the staying so good was the staff, especially Mr Chandana who took promptly care of us and of any necessities we had. I recently stayed at Swell Shacks for one night and had an amazing experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The design of the hotel is simply stunning and perfectly complements the beautiful environment. I loved waking up to the sound of the ocean and having the beach right in front of our room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The breakfast provided was delicious and offered a variety of options. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking sights. I had such a wonderful time that I will definitely be coming back in the future. I highly recommend Swell Shacks for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. Special mention for Gayantha and Madushanka, always smiling, very welcoming and helpful, they definitely make our stay even better 😃 !
