We stayed as a couple for 11 days in this beautiful cottage 1 minute from the beach. It is so quiet and you can relax and retreat very well. There is also a whale skeleton and several beaches are within walking distance. It is also a kitesurfing paradise and there are many donkeys here. You can easily cater for yourself, but there are also several restaurants nearby. The owners are next door and are happy to help at every opportunity. We would come back any time. :-)

Super hotel and good value for money! This tidy and clean. You have the option to have fan or AC. The bathroom is outside with a roof, but all hotels are like this in this city. The owner is very nice and answers all questions very quickly. The hotel is well located, close to other hotels/restaurant and to KSL camp if you want to kite. I’ll come back!

Right at the beach. Perfect location if you want to do some kitesurfing. You can do a downwinder home ;-) Food was delicious, room was clean and big with AC and a fan. Laundry Service. and whatever you ask for… We stayed here for 7 nights and my friend took some kitesurfing lessons. Shawn is a great teacher and also the rest of the crew were super friendly, welcoming and took good care of us. We also left the kitebag at the place to continue our travels and got it sent back to Colombo (for a fee) however what a service :) All in all, we were very satisfied and had an amazing week! Thank you Surfpoint Crew

Received very well. Beautiful location with stunning sunsets. Everything is very neat and clean. They arrange everything down to the last detail, for example, transport (boat trip) and Wilpattu safari. Tip: ask the chef to put together your menu. This way, you get to taste everything (breakfast, lunch, dinner). We had a wonderfull stay, thank you!

Location is great though its not at the edge of the water but few steps back. The crue is professional and making sure your needs are take care of. Food is absolutely on next level. When I needed a ride to Kalpitiya city, Kalpitiya Lagoon or just a ride to a near by the ATM, I jumped on the back seat of the scooter. Any request wasn't too much for the Scoop Cabana crue. Price wise, it is a great place value per money and I have stayed there for a full month

I really enjoyed my stay. The wooden bungalows are very rustic and cozy, with open roofing and an outdoor shower. The garden is well-maintained too. The school has a WhatsApp group where they share information about lesson planning, wind conditions, and activities, which I found really well-organized. Dinners are served with all the guests at the kite center, which was just 5 minutes away by bike. Safran was my instructor. He is very experienced and teaches in a great way—always calm, helpful, and full of good advice. I made great progress thanks to him. I felt like in a kitesurf community . Thanks a lot to Safran and all the Margarita staff!
