We were a family of 3 staying at il Frangipane and it was an excellent experience. The staff is fantastic and truly did everything they possibly could do to pamper us and help in any way possible. The location is great, in walking distance from Sigyria and when we needed transport the staff arranged it immedately. The meals were delicious and when taking it easy dipping in the nice, clean pool was perfect. Highly reccommrnded!

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Lion Gate Hotel Sigiriya. We spent two nights there, and without a doubt, it’s the most charming and welcoming hotel we’ve experienced. Bernard, who manages the hotel, goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort, and his friendly staff make you feel right at home. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes—many of them traditional—that catered to all tastes. The hotel was very clean, and every team member was friendly and warm. Additionally, all the nearby attractions were easily accessible. We would love to stay here again anytime!

One of the best stays of our 2 month trip in Sri Lanka! Best value for money. The room was spacious and clean, great shower with hot water, and breakfast could be enjoyed on the little veranda every morning. The bed was sooooo comfortable!! Location is a bit out of town which for us was ideal, since we enjoy going on walks and exploring our surroundings. The hosts were incredibly nice and attentive, and helped us to rent a scooter, and took us in and out of town when we needed. Sigiriya was just a short ~30min scooter ride away, Dambulla cave temple is just around the corner. For us this was the perfect end to our trip in Sri Lanka, thank you!!
