From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like family not guests .. and the food was the best we have had so far .. from the traditional sri lankan food such as curries to the spanish influenced potatas bravos.. everything is cooked fresh ..an open kitchen so you can watch or as I did .. had a morning cooking lesson to make string hoppers , coconut sambal and Dahl.. .. too good ! . The rooms are large .. plenty of storage and sockets next to bed and great hot water shower. Pool , jacuzzi and wildlife in the garden.. location is amazing ..so quiet but can walk outside and there are shops and a cultural center with local entertainment . Beautiful walk to a lake also for the sunset... we were so happy to have chosen this place . Transport to anywhere can also be provided .

Absolutely everything! There's so much accommodation to choose from in Sigiriya. We find it risky to not stay in home stays but we really fancied a pool. It did not disappoint. You can see both rocks from your balcony (not the pool), the breakfast was the best we've had in Sri Lanka and we've been here for 25 days already. The size of the bed was UNREAL and the comfiest we've had. Not too firm but just right! Tea and coffee with plenty of water in rooms. HOT WATER! We'd not had a hot shower for a few days, absolute bliss. The bathrooms are so spacious too. Everywhere was kept immaculate and they were even doing some more work to the place while we were there and it didn't once disrupt our stay. The restaurant is communal and we met other beautiful guests that we will remain friends with. A wonderful experience. We booked for one night, stayed two and the food was so good, on the second night after a long day we ate dinner here. Highly recommend and we'd come back again! Liz & Finn

This was such a tranquil and warm experience. The Eco Lodge is eloquent and the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. This was our favourite stay across our whole time in Sri Lanka. We stayed in the mud house which was beyond our expectations. We felt immersed in nature with all the modern amenities which felt calm and peaceful. The pool is a tranquil haven and the spa was lovely. We had breakfast and dinner which were both delicious and fresh. I really reccomend coming to visit, the hospitality was incredible, we hope to return soon. Thank you from us all.

Beautiful big room with a mini bar and lovely comfy bed. The staff were very friendly and went out their way to help us out. Very close to the train station and elephant tours. The surroundings were beautiful and the room was absolutely pristine.
