Everything It exceeded all our expectations the room was so cool. This place has only been open 7 months and he has plans to build self contained units above the current property. With only 3 rooms and a 6 bed apartment it's a lovely cozy place. It's very remote and so peaceful.

The best hotel I've ever been privileged enough to stay at badulla. The elegant décor of the rooms, top-notch amenities, and high-quality services are the prime attractions of this hotel. I have stayed at a dozen hotels but this was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Nine Skies is the definition of boutique luxury. It is a small hotel with only 5 rooms and the service we received from all the staff was truly so personable this really felt like a home away from home. The design of the whole hotel is beautiful with a wonderful living room, with a cosy fire in the evenings, and our suite room was beautiful with a terrace. The pool has an amazing view over the tea plantation. All the meals we had were delicious. Our host was very friendly and helpful, organising day trips for us and setting up our own table with lots of candles for dinner by the pool one evening, and also set up our own private breakfast at a look out point which were both lovely experiences. This hotel is brilliant if you want a very quiet, secluded spot in the Hill Country with excellent service and food. It is an expensive hotel but it is worth the money.

We tried the Sri Lankan Breakfast, it was very tasty. They served it fresh and on time. The staff at the restaurant & front desk were very friendly. Mr. Travis from the operations was extremely helpful in providing information and making arrangements. He is an asset to the hotel.

Very nice located home with fantastic view over Badulla. Short distance to city center, easy to get to by TukTuk. Quiet and clean. The rooms and bathrooms have a good size. Nice little pool to cool down and have a break. The owner is very friendly and helpful in all kind of things and comes with good tips for day activities and places to go/to eat. We had some fantastic days and can highly recommend this place.

Second time I stay here as I haven’t found something similar in Badulla. Calm place a bit out of the centre. Anyway, they have their tuktuk that gets you in the city and comes to pick you up when you call them - at a fixed price. Kitchen is OK, haven’t tried a lot though. The place is generally well maintained, clean, and the staff is pleasant.

very clean and comfortable rooms with good showers. The owner is super friendly and helped us with a lot of information and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed the really good dinner and breakfast. Couldn't ask for anything more. This is a great stay to relax especially after hiking the pekoe trail. It is also easily accessible with public transportation.

If you are looking for a gem off the beaten track, this would be it. Tucked away in the middle of nowhere just between rice fields, mountains and coconut trees. Very welcoming family who will take great care of you - showing you around the area, explaining about gardening and cook delicious food. Very peaceful and authentic spot in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend
