We were looking for accommodation near the katharagama and we encountered the accommodation of Diana and his husbands place. It is soooooo beautiful, a real pearl in the middle of a green jungle and a paddy field. Two EXCELLENT (((((!!) clean room equipped with everything you need, beautiful setting, beautiful room (we moved the outside bathroom). Diana and his husband are very helpful, very welcoming, open-minded and are excellent hosts. we were offered a local dinner on site (not too spicy for tourists), super good!!!. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. they organized the village Safari Tour for us free of charge. We had a great driver and a terrific safari. Excellent local breakfast! I recommend this hotel 100%. Unbeatable value for money! If we had not already booked an accommodation in galle, - we would have stayed another one or two nights. People. Excellent, exceptional care, near beautiful lake, where you can watch the birds, owner is very helpful, they also cook there. Short walk to town, small shop on the corner. Internet working well. They book you Safari tour so you do not have to worry about anything. Nice open space common area.

Host was amazing! Went above and beyond for us. Price also included a delicious dinner and breakfast - worth the money just for that alone. Host also sorted out our safari and let us check out late after this. Would 100% recommend this property.

We loved this place! Wonderful homestay overlooking the lake. The owner has created a very comfortable room- lovely 4 poster bed with comfy mattresses and pillows, a huge dressing mirror, hairdryer, desk and chair and a stand to hang clothes, AC and TV. The rooms share a wrap around balcony and a nice terrace to have your meals. Gemunu and his wife made us a lovely dinner - hoppers and fish curry was delicious. The buffalo yoghurt with treacle is a must. We booked a half day safari through them. Chamara was a good guide and we even managed to see a leopard. Though we stayed only a night we loved it and hope to stay here again. Gemunu was really helpful in getting our laundry done for us - washed and folded. It was really appreciated. A fantastic base for your safari.

Everything. The place is amazing inside, very quiet and peaceful. The host is more than a beautiful person, so friendly, caring, and always responsive. I arrived yo another hotel by mistake since they have similar names and she called me to ask when I will be there. I explained to her that I got confused and I was in the wrong place and she had so much understanding about the situation and got worried that something may have happened to me. The hospitality of this place is just unique. The room was exactly as the pictures shown. Spacious, super clean, clean sheets and big bathroom, all new constructed and in perfect condition. There was a balcony with a wonderful view in the forest, coffee, a kettle, and cups to have your coffee im the morning, laundry service, food delivery at your room, and a fridge. There was hot water, very rare in Sri lanka, good water pressure, and place to hand your towels and things on the bathroom. WIFI was good, considering that you are in a Forrest and you can book the safari with them, better do it through your host they know they best guides!! Overall, it'd one of the best places I have stayed world-wide and with better quality and service from most of the 4 and 5* hotels I have been to, with a very reasonable price.

We had our best time at Nehansa Resort, The room was very clean and nice, the staff was very kind and always watching how they could do the best for us. We got a free lake safari before the sunset and they organised everything for our full day safari for the next day. I could not recommend this resorr enough! If you want to go for a Safari at Yala stay here, you will get the best service and everything you can imagine.
