An exceptional family stay, in December 2024, this was a newly built facility. The family run hotel had a homely atmosphere, everyone was super friendly and polite. The owner has put a lot of thought into the layout and details of the whole hotel. The room are expansive, very comfortable and immaculately clean. The private balconies offer great views over the picturesque rice fields and beyond to the lake. The gardens are teaming with birds. The pool is well maintained, and very welcome after a long journey. The food was super fresh and very tasty, home cooked in a very clean open air kitchen. The owner arranged our Yala safari. We had a very enjoyable stay, in hide sight we should have stayed longer.

Gem of a place. As mentioned in other reviews the rooms are basic BUT comfortable and clean. For the price they are more than perfect. The setting itself was wonderful - right by the lake, surrounded by wildlife. In the evening, the host took us by tuktuk/scooter for a free tour of the lakes where we saw varans, bats, many birds including two beautiful owls !, and even a (harmless) snake. I booked my Yala safari with the host the day before and we could tell that the driver was more experienced than others. We saw all the wildlife one could see in Yala - leopards, crocodiles, varans, many birds, elephants, mongooses and even a sloth bear ! Perfect place, I'm happy I choose it.

Randy was a great host. We arrived close to 9pm and he stayed in touch with my driver. He welcomed us with a delicious drink and fruits. We had to go to a safari tour at 6am the next morning and he also prepared a snack pack for us. Very delicious and everything at no cost! Very professional and attentive service. I wish I could stayed longer.

Great service, the staff was very helpful and friendly. They picked us up at the bus station for free when it was heavy raining. They showed us crocodiles, birds, fruit bats and buffalos around the area again for free. So, when you need to go somewhere they will get you there. We also played carrom with the staff.
