If you stay a week or more a kitchen can be used. Every day around 18.00 hours you can see elephants quite nearby at one of the thee lakes. 2 or 3 or 6. Very exiting. They come to drink water. Harry was super kind during our stay at Afenta. Nothing was too much and he offered us tasty restaurants and gave us good tips for the area. Mihintale is also a beautiful village with beautiful nature.

We decided to stay at this particular accommodation because we wanted to stay somewhere quieter than the hustle and bustle of Anuradhapura. In the end, this was a big surprise for us. The room, although relatively small, was very nice and spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom, which had hot water, which is not common in accommodation of this price in Sri Lanka. There is also a small refrigerator in the room. We enjoyed two delicious meals prepared for us by the very kind hosts at a very good price. Mihintale is beautiful and we visited some important places around there. The area around the accommodation was very beautiful and tidy and you could see many of its animals to play in the trees.
