The pool is beautiful and perfect for relaxation. The staff is really friendly and helpful, they are doing everything they can to make the stay unforgettable. Another highlight: the villa helps in organizing a safari. All in all, a highly recommended accommodation! We had a great time ☺️

This hotel is an absolute gem in Sri Lanka. We've visited several places, and this is our favorite. It's beautifully located, allowing you to walk for miles along the beach without encountering anyone. The beach is pristine, free of litter, unlike some other places in Sri Lanka. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The service is excellent, and the restaurant offers a delicious and diverse menu. There are plenty of excursion options nearby, with stunning wetlands and lagoons perfect for bird watching. This wonderful place has been crafted with great care. Interestingly, it is also very affordable compared to other hotels. It's definitely worth traveling a bit further to enjoy this exceptional and beautiful spot. An absolute must-visit. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Breakfast was lovely. Enjoyed kayaking on the lagoon. Staff were very attentive and kind. Room was immaculately clean. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Cozy place! The owner is icredibly helpful, beyond the stay at Igabara. Helped us with the transport and activities, fairly recommending what is the best.

Just amazing - fantastic room with excellent ac and plenty of hot water The food was simply delicious and lots of it Fresh local caught prawns one night and fresh fish the next day The host was charming and nothing was too much trouble We biked, swam and saw turtles 🐢

We loved the pool, temperature was perfect. From the pool we had a view of the river, there was plenty of birdlife to watch, also saw mongoose and large lizard. The owner really cares about the service he is providing. The meals were all amazing and he was accommodating when on the second day we only wanted a light lunch of sandwiches. He organised a good safari for us and was there as we left for safari even though it was 5am. Really recommend this accommodation.

The hotel has a fantastic view of the ocean. The beach is incredibly beautiful, a long stretch of sand, bordered by greenery. Hardly any resorts, only a handful of small ones, not really visible from the beach. You have it basically to yourself. The food was very good, the staff ever so attentive. We enjoyed the big swimming pool, the calmness of the location, and liked the design of the hotel. We fully recommend this property.
