Went for a quick transit stay to spend the night. They even arranged the pick-up from the railway station which was very convenient given the time we arrived. From the welcome drink that was served even at late at night to the dinner served before checking out was all exceptional. The staff was very professional respectful. They humbly attended our requests The food and the serving was top-notch The location is easy to reach and the hotel premise has a lovely landscape with a pool Will visit again. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning to travel to Minneriya / Hingurakgoda.

The host, Mina, is exceptionally kind. She wants all her guests to be happy, comfortable and 'well feed'!!! Her cooking is also exceptional. The accommodation is simple, in a good way. The hotel is in a beautiful location, overlooking the lake. There are so many birds to see. You can also go on a boattrip to see the wildlife. It was stunning. And very quiet, no roadnoise. You are only a few minutes away from the ancient city, in a tuk tuk. Food was good and the staff very friendly.

This is a very quiet and peaceful place. The room was also very comfortable. The staff were very kind and supportive. It is an ideal place to relax both mentally and physically. Although we came for just one day, we felt like staying for a few more days.
