This is the hotel we liked the most during our stay in Sri Lanka. It’s situated next to the lagoon. The room is spacious, bed comfortable, delicious breakfast & very kind and friendly staff. The river safari is also agréable, we’ve seen different animals. If we come back to Sri Lanka, here is the place we want to stay again.

Such a beautiful place to stay, clean and homely and you can fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves. Our room was facing the sea and we could wake up and lie in bed and look out to the beautiful beach. The bed was enormous and the room spacious. We opened the door in the morning straight onto the beach with our own private sun loungers and hammock. We could lie quietly and read or sit and sip a beer. The owners were just the kindest and nicest people. They were so welcoming and the room was so homelywith a beautiful patchwork bedspread. we were welcomed like part of the family. The breakfast was fantastic with Sri Lankan dishes and fruit and omelette and tea and it filled us up for the day. The views of the beach were incredible. It was a close drive (about 20 mins) from the centre of Galle which was handy for seeing the sights. When we left we were asked to plant a tree for the owners as a memory of us being there which was just lovely. We stayed 2 nights but could have stayed longer and do hope to be back. Thank you again for a fabulous time.

His leadership was evident in every detail of our stay. Sajith and Chaminda, the guest service ambassadors, were exceptional in their hospitality, handling even our most complex requests with grace, efficiency, and genuine passion. What sets Oruva apart is its perfect harmony of contemporary luxury and traditional charm, which creates a serene and captivating ambience. We highly recommend this villa for its outstanding service, impeccable attention to detail, and ability to deliver a truly unique and memorable experience. We had an unforgettable stay at OMA Hikkaduwa, which turned out to be the perfect way to end our two-week journey through Sri Lanka. Without a doubt, this was the most beautiful and immaculately clean hotel we stayed at during our entire trip! The hotel’s build quality is exceptional, and the stunning views paired with the unique outdoor bathroom created a truly special experience. The rooms are thoughtfully equipped with hot water, air conditioning, and spacious balconies for ultimate comfort. OMA Hikkaduwa is a true hidden gem, located just 1 kilometer from Narigama Beach and within reach of great restaurants, yet still offering a serene escape where nature is right at your doorstep. The hosts, Åsa and Chili, are incredibly kind and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel completely at home. A huge thank you for having us—“på återseende”! :)

New private Villa near beach 150 m. (very nice sunsets and almost no tourists on nearby beach), popular beaches like Hikkaduwa beach is 5 minutes ride away, Turtle beach where is small bay without waves and you can swim with turtles almost every day is 10 minutes away. 2 big bedrooms with bathrooms, very good and helpfull stuff, everyday cleaning. Big beds with very good matrasses and quality bed sheets and towels. You can find restaraunt on a beach maybe 600 meeters away. Very good WiFi and fast internet. Air conditioning in bedrooms. Local fish market 1 km away, supermarket 2.5 km.
