We had never been glamping before and weren’t sure what to expect. At One was a very pleasant surprise. The room had all the luxuries of a hotel and the surrounding are beautiful. We felt like we were on a luxurious safari in that nature and glorious wildlife was all around but we could retreat into a space with all the comforts and mod-cons we’re used to. The best of both worlds. The staff were very welcoming and offered great local knowledge and guidance on things to do. We visited the turtle sanctuary situated on the most glorious beach a few minutes walk away and regret not having had the time to explore the lagoon at the bottom of the lane. We’ll certainly be back.

We loved our stay here! The villa was wonderful, clean, spacious, lovely pool and we enjoyed the delicious meals which were served on our private terrace and were prepared by a chef both trained in Sri Lankan and European dishes. The staff was very friendly, unobtrusive and the house was a great place to rest. German owners - very easy to work with. We also saw baby turtles on the beach and this made this place even more special. Swimming in the sea was no problem. Thank you for the wonderful stay! We will come back one day for sure.

We stayed in Lankavatara 9 days and we had a wonderful and restoring experience. We choose the location because is very quite and immerse in the nature and after 10 days going around the island we needed a break before leaving. What make our stay unforgettable has been also the staff, all are very helpful and professional, from the staff at the reception, the staff at the restaurant, the staff who clean, and the staff at the spa. Resort is on great location, its so peacefull and nice. Rooms are very tidy, comfortable and super clean. Pool is great also, we spend hours there chillin' out. They have great restorant, food is amazing, we had dinner there 3 times and we loved all food there. Apsolutelly perfect. Personell is the highlight here, those people are amazing! Very profesional, on service all time, ready and capeable to help with any wish or desire. We felt like we are one big family. This is one of top 2 hotels where I been in my life traver experience. Thanks a lot, you are amazing!

Staff is really attentive and helpful. This makes for a really stress free vacation as we did not have to worry about a thing. Food was delicious and always prepared fresh. Beach was as epic as it gets, long and wide sandy strip. Pool was well taken care of and loungers were plenty to be found in shade and in sun. Rooms, although simple, were comfortable and cleaned daily. Location is good, quiet and relaxing.

We already had high expectations since the reviews are gold, but they were still exceeded. 1) Room is super cool, photogenic, little details like chilled beer mug in the fridge 2) Hirushan is a kind soul genuinely interested in serving his guests and leaves no stone unturned 3) Food was out of the world, they re-made some dishes because we liked them so much 4) Tangalle is pretty, but this region Rekawa has the BEST BEACH, giant waves and most gorgeous sunset 5) We saw like a 100 turtles hatched and running towards the beach :') More on my youtube channel by same name
