I felt at home and everyone in the family is a friendly, accommodating and a warm host. I learned a few more words of Sinhala while I helped Damayanthie with the cooking or played UNO with their children. There is a river nearby where you can swim, so I went there with the 2 kids. Everything! A hidden gem in a charming village near Anuradhapura! With only three beautifully designed cabins, the place feels intimate, peaceful, and truly authentic. The service was exceptional – Madushka made us feel so welcome, and the food by Chef Mathiv and his team was absolutely outstanding. We loved walking through the village, where locals smiled and waved at us warmly. Quiet, authentic, and close to the archaeological sites – highly recommended!

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! Everything was very clean, the location is excellent, and the price is unbeatable for what you get. The breakfast is incredible—just $3 for a huge and delicious spread, totally worth it! If you’re planning to explore the city, I highly recommend renting an electric bicycle directly from the hotel. It’s super convenient and offered at a very budget-friendly rate. Although the rates are low, the service feels like a 5-star hotel. Highly recommended—I would definitely stay here again!

One of the best guesthouses we’ve ever stayed in! A peaceful, green oasis just outside the main area of Anuradhapura (10 min to the ancient city). Very comfortable, super clean bungalow with a/c, a comfy bed, a nice patio on the garden. The best part was the food! Delicious breakfasts and suppers, including a cooking class followed by a feast with 6 delicious Sri Lankan dishes. The owner was extremely helpful, connecting us with tuktuk drivers we could trust and basically treating us like honoured guests. All the comforts of a hotel, but none of the boring anonymity or overpriced food. Come stay here!!!
