I felt at home and everyone in the family is a friendly, accommodating and a warm host. I learned a few more words of Sinhala while I helped Damayanthie with the cooking or played UNO with their children. There is a river nearby where you can swim, so I went there with the 2 kids. We had the warmest welcome from the sweetest staff — they were there for us throughout our entire stay and nothing was ever too much to ask. Our room was spacious, spotless and the bathroom was even more beautiful than expected. The perfect place to pause your trip for a day, relax by the pool and unwind. Far enough from the busy areas to feel peaceful, yet close enough (a short bike ride!) to all the main sights in Anuradhapura. We had both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and everything was delicious — compliments to the chef. A special shout-out to Janake and the team, who arranged our Wilpattu National Park tour, made sure breakfast packs were ready for our early morning, helped us with tuk-tuks whenever we needed to go into town, and shared great tips for the rest of our trip. All in all, we won’t forget this stay or the incredible hospitality. Truly a place we can wholeheartedly recommend!

This lady is a BOSS! Best host ever, she fully understood what we needed and arranged the best driver for us to have an amazing tour trough the old city! We were the second lucky guests in her completely new room. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night, otherwise we would have stayed longer and booked a cooking class.l, because her food was the best we had in Sri Lanka!

- Adorable, thoughtful and highly welcoming owners doing their best to help with anything you may need. They arranged a tuk-tuk drive so I could visit the city and my guide really was the best too, then they arranged a taxi drive to Trincomalee at a great price with a very sympathetic and knowledgeable driver as well. - Great location and good recommendations/directions by Shehan (the owner) for places to have food/a juice by a beautiful lake, for example. - Spent some time with Shehan's wife and their son and really felt at home with them. They offered me some tea and we had some nice conversations. - Good bedroom and even could use an adaptor and mosquito repellent put at the customers' disposal in it.
