We really enjoyed everything about our stay at the Lion Wood Treehouse!! Lala and Arshani are just the best hosts you could ask for, they prepared everything with detail. From our lovely dinner to the amazing breakfast, they really wanted to make sure we felt at home and we sure did. The location is amazing, you’re surrounded by nature and you can see the Lion Rock from your room when you wake up. Bed was really comfortable and the room was really clean and has everything you need. I can only recommend this place if you’re coming to Sigirya!!

Felt very safe as a solo traveller. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. They had a beautiful dog (Roxy the Rottweiler) and ducks. Often saw kingfisher in the morning and amazing view of sunrise.

I am in love with this hotel! Absolutly lovely area with friendly and helpful staffs. Dinner was tasty and breakfast too. I want to stay longer but we didn't have more time. The pool was so awesome! 👍 Thank you for amazing stay.

It is a brand new family run Hotel in an ideal location, very close to the Sigiriya Lion Rock. The rock is visible from the hotel! Lovely owner/ family were very attentive to all our requests. They even arranged a superb safari for us on request. Very safe for solo/ female travellers as well. Mr. Asanka deserves special mention as the chef. His Sri Lankan dishes are a must try! Well worth the price! Will definitely come back!

This place offers free bikes, don't miss the lake tour at sunset which is really a great nature experience and your own small Safari. Very nice place, very quiet and clean and in a perfect position if you want to visit all the nearby attraction in this area! Enjoying the pool was an added value and the Sri Lankan food here was delicious. All the staff and the family was very nice! I highly reccomend this resort :)
