Tangalle is a hidden gem!
Tangalle is a hidden gem! So many wonderful beaches around the town. I stayed by the Goyambokka beach but preferred the neighbouring Silent beach, which was longer and so beautiful. The town has very little to offer.
The town has very little to offer. It’s a noisy, chaotic typical Sri Lankan town. The only redeeming factor was Silent Beach on the Western side of town. We also enjoyed a nice meal at Cactus Lounge.Guest review byCornelisSpain

Could not have been more perfect. Clean, modern, comfy beds, great food, lovely staff, and right on a classic long Palm fringed beach. Restaurant to lawn to beach - how good! May be too quiet for some, especially in monsoon season like now (very little rain in this part of SL but few tourists) when all the other beach bars are closed, but it’s a 15 min tuk tuk to Hiriketiya and 20 min to Tangalle.Guest review byChrisAustralia

It´s designed for couples, but we stayed there with our small daughter. Nature near is very nice, lot of colorful birds, peacocks, and other animals.
