I had an absolutely amazing experience here. The owner helped me on my way to Teldeniya from there I took a Tuktuk up in the hills. Solitary Cottage offers all you need: a quiet natural experience, birds and the sound of the wind. I managed to do some good hiking around without the need of a guide. The bungalow is well equipped and offers and fully equipped kitchen! Wifi works great. Make sure you order your food through the accommodation, it was close to the best authentic Sri Lankan food I ever tasted during my travels in Sri Lanka. I would definitely recommend this gorgeous place

The property is super clean and well-maintained, with rooms that are better than most 5-star hotels.The Villa felt just right, very quiet when and if you wanted it to be The pool is kept to professional standards, which I really appreciated. It’s an amazing spot for a perfect getaway with plenty of nearby attractions like the Pettigala mountain hike and Victoria Reservoir viewpoint to explore. Getting there by private car was a challenge, google maps is simply not accurate. Best way is to contact resort before. The team is outstanding, booked only a day before and they managed to make us feel at home. Will come back for sure
