This place is one of my favorites in Sri Lanka! It was such a beautiful surprise! Calm area, very nice outdoor setting, the room was very spacious (as was the bathroom!) So let's talk details: - Food: Amazing! Home cooked food, with candlelight and the sounds of nature! - Safari: He was a very good company during my trip! Where to start... We had a wonderful stay! Our host Ravidu is a very kind man, he welcomed me and my girlfriend into his family. We will forever be grateful for the special memories created there. His wife cooked us delicious traditional Sri Lankan food at night. Thank you very much ☺️ The bed is extremely comfortable and the room is spacious and very clean. It was nice to have a place to hang out on the terrace. There are many beautiful plants around the property that give it a jungle feel. We saw many tropical birds around. I 100% recommend booking a safari through Ravidu, he partners with a guide with many years of experience. The safari guide was knowledgeable about the animals and different species we saw on the safari. He was very respectful of the wildlife and drove slowly through the park unlike other jeeps..!!Guest review byRaul - 10.0

The location of the cottage is fantastic, within walking distance to Udawalawe Handhi. The room is beautifully designed with huge glass windows to appreciate nature. Very clean. We really enjoyed Ravidu Safari House!
We really enjoyed Ravidu Safari House! It is located about 5 minutes from the entrance of Udawalawe Park and is in a beautiful location among the trees. The manager Ravidu and his wife were very friendly and organized a wonderful safari for us to the park. We saw over 50 elephants and other animals, so we had a great time. Our room at the hotel was large, comfortable and very clean. We also had a lovely dinner at the hotel. The accommodation in this place has magical peace and quiet. The cabin is clean, air conditioned. Our host in the main building prepared us excellent Sri Lankan food. He is a wonderful, smiling and funny man with a wonderful family. We decided to go on a safari, which he helped us organize. As promised, our guide spoke good English and was able to identify animals that we would not have seen on our own. We highly recommend this place!Guest review byDrawe

Situated in Udawalawe National Park, has a nice swimming pool and a very good restaurant. The rooms are huge, well equipped and very clean. Too bad that we’ve stayed for only one night. The food was very good, the prices were decent. Also, the trip with the jeep in Udawalawe National Park was amazing (we’ve seen at least 12 elephants, 3 elephant calves, a lot of peacocks, buffalos, eagles and all kind of birds). They were clean and comfortable with great outside/inside bathrooms. The landscaping around the cabins is done very well & they feel private. It’s a perfect location for visiting Udawalawe National Park. Sachith & his wife Ama are exceptional hosts who helped us organise a safari and transport to and from their place. Everything is sparking clean, the pool is one of the nicest I’ve ever used. The room had a balcony and a view on a field so in the morning, we watched the peacocks walking around. We loved that the room had a view of this field, we were just in the middle of the nature. The hotel is very close to the National Park. The staff is really nice and kind. He is very friendly and super attentive. We booked our safari trip to Udawalawe National Park through the hotel and it was such an easy process. The entrance to the park is really close and our safari guide was brilliant. We stayed in the apartment, which was fantastic and had a gorgeous view from the balcony. The pool area was also great.
