I had a wonderful stay at this private luxury cottage near Galle. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage was exceptionally clean, with comfortable linens and all the necessary amenities, including tea, coffee, hot water, and toiletries—all provided free of charge. The complimentary WiFi covered the entire cottage, ensuring a seamless connection. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, served in a peaceful setting with the soothing sounds of birds and stunning nature views. The location is ideal, close to popular tourist attractions such as waterfalls and monasteries. Additionally, the nearby village offers unique experiences like cinnamon peeling, hiking, and birdwatching. The property is beautiful. Everything is very tastefully decorated. The furnishings are perfect. The garden pool is really cool and with nature sounds it felt so nature friendly! My one-week stay at Niyagama House was fabulous with the high standards the facility offers, the green with all those bird sounds in the morning mesmerized me. It was also so relaxing for my body and soul doing meditation & yoga with Elke every day, nourishing myself with the great food from the restaurant. I am looking forward to visiting that 'paradise on earth' again.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The villa is in the middle of the green with a beautiful garden facing a luxuriant rice paddy field. The rooms are massive, super clean with all the needed confort. The location is just perfect with only a few minutes tuktuk to the surrounding beaches and Galle Fort. We loved the breakfast and the company of Chaminda which is always there to help you, organise transport and give tips on where to go and what to do. We highly recommend the Villa Peacock. You will love it!!!!

Everything about this house was amazing! the house, the garden, the pool , the service! Amilani was a great host accommodating all our needs. Breakfast was exceptional, freshly prepared at the house. Pictures don't do this place enough justice. The only thing to consider is that the distance to Galle is about 20-25 minutes.

What a gorgeous place to stay. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to help us. We were eating in the dining area and it started to rain, one of the staff bought us over umbrellas so we didn’t get wet. Super thoughtful. The grounds were immaculate and the whole atmosphere of the place was so relaxing.

it’s a very cute place, all made of woods. located just on the riverside. many birds singing around. there is a big terrace in front of the entrance, perfect for morning yoga. bed is very big and comfortable. we have visited national park near by and saw many animals, different lizards, snakes, birds. our trip was perfectly organised by the owner. he is very nice man and friendly, we have enjoyed his company. especially we want to notice that food was amazing, like in a good restaurant. we definitely will remember our stay and come back again! 😊
