Most friendly place. Simple rooms, but all you need coming from or going to the airport. Super clean, warm water, air conditioning, comfortable bed… Cherry on the top though is the hospitality- greeted with a beer and a friendly chat, given a surprise complementary breakfast on the way out and no ask was too much! Definitely where I would always go again to and from the airport (oh yes, complementary airport shuttle too…)

As a female solo traveller I wanted to stay near the airport waiting for my husband to arrive. I was met at the airport by the free taxi and instantly put at ease. The rooms were immaculately clean and the private en-suite bathroom. It had all the toiletries you need so I wouldn’t need to open my suitcase and complimentary drinking water. The bed sheets were so soft and the aircon worked very well.

The staff in the hotel were lovely and very accommodating and helpful towards us as we arrived during the night and also had a lot of luggage that they very kindly helped us with! Perfect choice upon arrival in Sri Lanka at 4AM. The hotel is within 10 minutes of the airport, the staff were welcoming, check-in was a breeze which was so appreciated at such an early hour and breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed to rest after a long journey. Will stay again!

We spent our last day and night at Wallawwa. It was an overall luxury and perfect to unwind after our travels. They have complimentary tea time and a happy hour, the pool area is gorgeous, everyone was helpful and kind. I wished we stayed for another night, it was a peaceful bliss!

The hotel is located very close to the airport and railway station. It is like a little green oasis of peace and calm in the middle of the city. The hotel is well designed around a courtyard, with plenty of plants giving it a very tranquil feel. The pool was clean and refreshing with sun loungers available and extra towels provided. The room was clean and airy with a terrace outside and a good level of amenities. The shower room was excellent with good water pressure and hot/ cold water. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant attached with a decent range of tasty food. The hotel is very good value. We were afforded a late check out at a very reasonable price The staff were great, lovely people. I noticed several other hotels nearby but if i were to be looking for a comfortable and relaxing hotel in anticipation of a flight or train journey, I would definitely choose Olinia. Thank you for a great stay.

Ideal location to the airport for Guest having transit or prior to flights besides if u love tranquil nature serene gardens then this will fit your list. Villa resembles like Bali with Vintage colonial architecture with modern interior bathroom and beautiful veranda facing swimming pool. English breakfast was served and airport dropped off was complimentary part of the booking. Overall it was a pleasant peaceful stay i had and the staff was warm and friendly. Ideal for foeighners like me to rewind yourself. Highly reccommended.

Nice clean rooms, nice bathroom, good ac, and nice staff that will help u with anything. Good service that u also get free transport to the airport and from the airport. Very good value for the money. Perfect hotel for departure day. They also let me stay later after checkout to 19:00 pm because my flight was first in the evening for only a little extra additional fee. So if u have a late flight and arrive the day before this hotel is very convenient for u.
