The staff were extremely helpful, and always extremely friendly. The price was extremely good for the quality of the hotel. The hotel is just outside of Candy, and not too far away from some amazing hill tea plantations. We rented a car with a driver, which was a very good value and I would certainly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay — the place is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and such a peaceful atmosphere. The whole team was incredibly kind, caring, and welcoming. We loved our stay at Aqua Dunhinda Nature Retreat! The service was excellent, and we are grateful to the stuff, and especially the manager Harry, for their help, organising a taxi for us and giving us tasty breakfast to go when we checked out early. Our chalet and the view from it on the longest river in Sri Lanka were amazing! The feel is like you live in the jungle, but in the comfortable accommodation and you could hear the flow of the river all the time. There is a family of monkeys in the area, so we could see them around, which also adds some good memories for the trip. There are many trails, where we could go for a walk, and a swimming pool with a nice view as well. We had one dinner there and the food was delicious. Overall, we enjoyed staying at this hotel very much and we will be happy to come back again!
