We have had a fantastic week at Rock Wild Yala. This is a small friendly hotel situated in the Sri Lankan Jungle. The rooms and grounds are clean and well appointed. The staff are attentive and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was astounding. The new chef produced some delicious dishes for dinner and our choices for breakfast were fully catered for. From our room we saw Peacocks, Hornbills, Monitor Lizards, Tufted Grey Langur (Monkey), Buffalo and a Mongoose. Plus other birds. We would fully recommend. Thanks

The location of the property is amazing. it is located on a virgin beach and it is just next to Yala National Park for people who is looking for Safari trip. The service and the food were really good and tasty.

Amazing location, super close to the entrance to Yala. The huts are clean, spacious, spaced out, and they’ve made the outside areas really lovely! Beds are comfy and the staff are the best, they couldn’t be better!! Nishantha is so knowledgable and fascinating to talk too, and was our hero when we freaked out at a snake! The focus and dedication to eco tourism is inspirational and other places could learn from Yakaduru! Food is also wonderful, I can’t fault this place!

Udar awas an excellent host who took an interest in us and did everything he could to make our stay memorable. He took us to a local beach and showed us around. He also accompanied us as a guide on our Yala safari day after making all the arrangement for it. Breakfast and dinner were very good and more than enough. On the early start safari day, breakfast was packed for us to eat later. Very good wifi and the house is spacious and comfortable.

Amazing dinner with magical atmosphere, Saw a little crocodile even. Attention to details of this place and level of service is at the highest level. I really enjoyed the smell and quality of linen and towels. And they do have hot water showers now (which we didn’t expect due to the reviews)
